This is one of the nicest Days Inns I have stayed at of the dozen or so I stayed at over the years. Everything was great; cleanliness, convenient location, friendly staff, bathrooms, beds and towels. The only thing that was lacking was the pre-packaged breakfast items was not what I like. I prefer eggs and breakfast meats and breads that are made in house. Other than that, it was great.

The location is excellent. The room was on the dirty side; The toilet ran all night, TV remote broken and no TV. We were told they would send someone to fix it, but no one came. We asked for an extra 30 minutes for check out (11:30) and we were told it was no problem. But, at 11:02 someone was banging on our door telling us we were late.

So apon checking in, we left immediately to go out and didn't go to our room! When we arrived back at the hotel at 11pm at night, our room looked to have been used, slept in, got ready to order. what ever it may have been my room WAS DIRTY. Apon trying to get it corrected, we were moved to a new room. It also seemed like the three staff members that I had spoke didn't care to try and doing anything past moving our room. I was told when checking out the next time I stay here I would get a big discount by a work not a manager. When I asked for a manger I was told he wasn't there yet and when I wanted a phone I wasn't given one. I understand that people make mistakes but this hotel was sold out why was it only our room no cleaned. As of right now I give less then a one star.

Lighting in bathroom was not sufficient. Area around coffee maker was not cleaned well. Lid for ice bucket was missing. Breakfast choices were very limited, no eggs, dausage or hot cereal. Room and bathroom was clean. Staff were friendly, but did mot speak English well.

The room was really dark. Only a few lamps/lighting in the room. The elevator and hallways had an off or strong smell. The breakfast area was really dark with very limited amount of food. The bed was fine for one night and it’s a good thing I had my pillow. They pillows they have are this small square things. The carpet looked like it was in need a a good cleaning. It’s right off the highway so it was a little loud with traffic.

The property was mediocre. Immediately upon exiting the elevator onto the second floor we were assaulted with an extremely strong odor I can only liken to driving by a very odorous city dump. Our room smelled and we got air freshener from front desk and I sprayed very expensive perfume on the bed linens. Stuck towels against the door as the odor was coming in from the hall. The bathroom had mold in all corners of the shower. The smoke alarm was covered with a plastic bag. If I had not been exhausted we would have immediately demanded a refund. I will NEVER stay at a Days Inn again. Disgusting.
