Unfortunate
I am not one to complain but I feel it's worth it to make sure others know going in what to be aware of in a couple areas.
For reference, this was a weekend getaway for a team building event. Wifi was very important as we had a whole day of work events. I was told they could support that but we couldn't stay connected.
Good size and fit our needs perfectly. Unfortunately, there are cobwebs covering that place from top to bottom. It looks like Halloween decorations in some areas inside the house. I know it is surrounded by trees and secluded but it looks like there hasn't been a deep clean in there for years. It felt very dirty and neglected in that way.
Bugs everywhere - some pest control is desperately needed.
As the event got closer, people started having to cancel so our final number changed. Since you have to pay extra for additional people, I asked if we could change the number on the reservation so we didn't pay for people that wouldn't be staying. I was told I could absolutely do that and we should wait until after the stay. My reservation was for 10 but we ended up having 7 stay and after multiple attempts at getting a refund for those additional 3, I have now not received a response. I gave it a few weeks hoping not to have to give a negative report but alas, here we are.
In hindsight, I wouldn't have chosen this place. It looks like a reasonably priced option but after their outrageous fees, I may as well have gotten something a little nicer.
