We stayed in room #101, doors slamming all hours of the night, a loud ice machine right next to this room, we discovered ants on the desk when we woke up the next morning. The the air freshener in the room was disgusting and over powering. The next morning when checking out we met Michalynn who said she was the General Manger asked us how are stay was? We simply said awful, and we had not had a full nights rest. We let her know about the insects (ants) and how noisy our stay was. We also advised her about the slow draining bath sink which was nasty.
It’s oblivious she had complaints before about this room. She became very loud, rude, angry and disrespectful. Asking my wife and I why we did not ask to be moved? We explained it was the middle of the night. She went on to say in a very rude tone well you should have asked to be moved. It was obvious she was very triggered by our complaint. We travel a lot and this was the absolute worst treatment we have ever experienced from a hotel employee. It is ver clear this person is NOT a good fit for her job. We will never stay at another Wyndham hotel ever again. A 1 star review is generous.
