“The "Isle of View" was the perfect location for my friends and I. Situated a little more than an hour from Baton Rouge and New Orleans, we were able to visit both cities and retreat to the quiet castle at night. The resident Hemingway cat that oversaw the property was very affectionate. Bring cat treats! We will stay again. Thank you Marcus.”

“We drove from Georgia to see our son graduate from SELU. It was in a great location in proximity to the school. We were able to relax and enjoy each other while sitting out on the deck. The beds were comfortable and I loved the massage chair!”

“When a group a family who isn’t related but is more like family than actual family needs to get together for a long weekend, this is the place to stay. We had multiple families stay here, we organized meals to split between all the families, and we had plenty enough room for all of us. The detached cottage was adorable. Just wish it had a bathroom, but wasn’t a dealbreaker. The game room was a huge hit and lots of time spent in there. The pool doesn’t get much sun, so we didn’t get to use it as……

“This property was perfect for my large group to stay for the weekend! The only category that wasn’t 5 stars was cleanliness but the house was perfect! The 4 star rating was because the Trash Bin outside was already full when we got there. This made clean up a little tricky and honestly I felt bad with the amount of trash that was collected there.”

“This property was very nice and accommodating. Our host did a great job of communicating and staying in touch with us. The only small problem (which ended up not being a problem at all for us), is that the property is ONLY accessible by boat. They do provide a small barge for you to burrow and they offer a “boat taxi” service. Overall the experience was great, just be prepared for a tiny boat ride across the canal.”

“We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay....from breathtaking sunsets to amazing wildlife. The location was perfect for visiting Louisana....close to New Orleans and not to far from Baton Rouge... The beds and couch were extremely comfy and we loved coming home for the day and just hanging out playing pool and board games.... The host and staff were very nice and always available. Would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends!”
