This was very conveniently located, we could walk almost everywhere. The Mississippi River and riverwalk/park is directly across the street and it was beautiful place to watch the sunset. The hop on hop off shuttle leaves from the hotel which was great.The hotel looks and feels like a grand old hotel, right down to the furnishings, art work and carpet. Surprised to learn it was built in 2008. The cons..when we checked in we were informed that on top of the nightly fee there was a mandatory $18/nt charge for amenities; internet, pool, gym, etc. The internet connection was absolutely horrible!! The breakfast was mediocre at best. We bought 2 bottles (10 oz) of juice from the little "store" at the front desk, $10.80!!!! It's a very nice hotel but you're paying for the location! Just a heads up!

We had a good stay and our room was nice. The only down side to the room was it had an odd smell like mildew and when we bought drinks from the little store in the lobby, they charged us 21.00 for a bottle water, a bottle Dr. pepper and one candy bar.

Natchez Grand Hotel is a beautiful hotel right on the Miss river. The parking is perfect, once your there you can walk to restaurants, walking path, and all around the town. Plenty of historic homes to keep you busy for the weekend, the staff is very friendly and the hotel is well preserved.

Worn out property - outdated- the carpets, the paint…not shown in the photos here. The check in staff was awful- they did not give me the room I booked and had a terribly rude attitude because I had booked through Expedia. I have never been treated as rudely because I used Expedia than I was treated at this property. The location is nice down town but the property and staff are not worth the trade off. Very disappointed. Would not stay here or recommend it to anyone!

Best location in Natchez! It is an older property so expect that it is not in perfect condition. That was not a problem! The breakfast staff and breakfast is wonderful! Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the housekeeping staff. A housekeeper asked if we needed anything and I told her towels. She asked that I put my dirty towels in the hall, which I did. This was mid morning. We left and came back mid afternoon, no towels. I called the front desk and the person said that Housekeeping is sitll here, "I will give them a reminder". We left and went to dinner. Back around 7:30pm still no towels. I went to the front desk to request towels. She said maintence was on his way up to give them to us but she gave me some instead. Everyone was pleasant; they just didn't do what they said they would do. The hotel should invest in more towels. Some of the ones I got were paper thin. Overall, our stay was a good one and we will be back.

I like the quiet of the hotel during the time of my stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was clean. The hotel also had a pretty decent breakfast buffet.

I didn’t like the way it was portrayed on Expedia website as free internet, breakfast, gym etc. when in fact at check in there is a mandatory fee of 20$ for these services. I was told by desk clerk it is listed at the bottom of confirmation email which is a very deceptive practice imo. These services should not be listed as included in room price when in fact they are separate fee. There are 3 in my party yet I was gave only 2 breakfast vouchers per hotel policy. If you have a cell phone or other device to charge be sure to bring an adapter as there are no ubs ports in the room with only one electric outlet in bedroom and two in bathroom. Room is clean but bed linens old and should be replaced.
