“So, this is a very old property. That said, it is very well-maintained. I am of the mindset why not stay in a room that has knotty pine walls and mid Century modern furniture than the usual cookie cutter hotel. Parking is directly in front of your room door. It is 20 feet to walk to the lake front. It is a very nice walk up and down the lakeshore. There are geese and other water birds fishing in the morning, people with their dogs running along the shallows. Just the sort of vibe I want……

“We had a great stay! House was very nice and clean. Only suggestion would be a little nicer grill but we managed. A DVD player was listed but not present that we could find. Everything else was perfect! We would definitely stay here again. I have a 4 star for communication only because I had difficulty reaching the property manager but I believe he was having trouble with his app notifications. Once that was sorted out everything was good to go. ”

“A couple of us are from the UP and are very happy with our stay but… finding the property proved to be difficult as there is not a proper and well defined address or signage and the driveway or lack there of is a big BIG problem, the cabin itself was absolutely a dream but that is all I would give a positive feedback on, the fire pit was great and it was fully stocked but the creek as described in the picture is non existent but overall it was a good stay”
