“There are 3 non-camping places to stay in Sossusvlei, Desert Camp, Desert Quiver and the Sossusvlei Lodge. They are all owned by the same company. All meals are taken at the Sossusvlei Lodge 2-3 kms down the road. There is no internet at Desert Quiver. There is a nice swimming pool but one needs to drive to it. The rooms are very nice, however. “had a lovely stay at Desert Camp. Everything was super clean. The rooms are very spacious with a wonderful bathroom. The outside kitchen is fabulous with an incredible view of the mountains. They offer, at no cost, a box of kitchen utensils that has everything you would ever want (including a cast iron pan!)”
