“I can’t say enough nice things about our stay at this new beautiful home on Smith Lake. The owners are so easy to communicate with and wanted us to have all that we needed. The home is perfect and so well done with plenty of space. I’m worried about everyone finding out about this place and never getting the chance to rent it again! Just enjoyed it so much, and great for those that don’t have a boat and can rent from the marina nearby. It was cold and they had outside heaters for us to use……

“We truly enjoyed our relaxing stay at the cottage on Smith Lake. The house was clean, well-decorated, and fully stocked to meet our needs. Our teenagers enjoyed the downstairs room and living area. We enjoyed building a fire in the fireplace on the main floor and sitting on the screened-in porch drinking coffee in the morning. We hope to return in the summer to enjoy swimming and boating on the lake! ”

“We had a great mini-vacation at Bushy Creek this week. The house was perfect for our family of 6 (and a dog) and was very clean and seemed fairly updated. With 4 bedrooms, 7 beds, and an open living space, there was more than enough space for everyone in our family. There were large “smart” flatscreen TV’s in 3 of the bedrooms, as well as phone chargers and plenty of accessible outlets. Outside, there’s a great porch with ceiling fans and chairs, a nice patio and a fire pit where we had a fire……

“This property is UNBELIEVABLE - even better than the photos! The home itself is gorgeous and designed to complement the beautiful, natural surroundings - lovely stone and wood and so many wonderful design touches! Every detail was thought of when considering guest needs - plenty of fridge space and ice (even at the dock!), a coffee bar area, spacious showers...the list goes on! But what made the property particularly spectacular for us was the outdoor space - multiple covered decks with comfy……

“The cabin was amazing; very clean with everything we needed for our brief stay. A great re-model by the owners. Close to the Sipsey Wilderness/Bankhead National Forest where we enjoyed hiking. We fished off the dock at the cabin and enjoyed the beautiful view of Smith Lake, one of our favorite places to be. Near Chef Troy's Talk of the Town restaurant, very good food and service. Just a suggestion for the owners-you may want to mention the driveway being very steep and rutted. We were in a 4x4……
