“A very pleasant property with a caring host. Immaculately clean, super comfortable (the bed is great!). The outdoor spaces are a true plus, especially for the sunset. Overall, a very peaceful experience. We were disappointed that the listing (including the map) on VRBO is not at all accurate in relation to location. And it turned out to be a 23 minute walk from the port, not 14. Highly recommend a car if you stay here!”

“Excellent property with 3 levels and 3 patio decks. The view was great, except for the unfinished house right in front of the view. The host was very responsive to texts and messages on WhatsApp, and gave us a ton of information about the area, places to see and restaurants to experience. All of the locals seem to know him and treated us like royalty most places we went. The area is south of the main city, and not within walking distance, but the drive is pretty easy and only takes about 10……

“What an amazing stay here at this beautiful home with views of the ocean and the sunset . Coming home to the Jacuzzi after spending the day out was a perfect way to end the day. Konstantina was a wonderful host, meeting us at the property giving us the tour. She was available if we needed anything. Can’t say enough about the location . 5-10 min drive to everything. Great privacy several different patios where we spent most of our time eating our meals and relaxing. ”

“Jolandas Castle House is better than the photos portray. Beautiful restoration.Excellent host who met us on arrival and walked us up to the castle. Being in the castle precinct, it is uphill from the old town of Naxos. 10 minute walk back down to town through either the labyrinths or outside the old castle gates.We hired a car for 2 days to visit the villages and beaches. Well worth it.Loved Naxos.”

“I cannot imagine a better place for our family in Naxos. The location is amazing. The layout was perfect. The host was so welcoming and helpful. Would love to come back and stay longer. Certainly did not want to leave. ”

“We stayed at Gatis House for 9 nights, and really enjoyed it. We were a family of five adults, had lots of room. Gatis is located close to the restaurants, beach, ferry and attractions. It has a view of the water and a nice balcony . If back in Naxos, we will stay here again.”

“Great views, rustic self accommodation in a surfers/kite surfers town. The property is a little basic but it has everything you really need for a beach vacation. It’s a good steep walk up to the accommodation so beware if you’ve got a big suitcase. There’s not much by way of restaurants or groceries (avoid the small mini marts near by in favour of the larger ones nearer the chora). Our hosts were friendly and offered port pick up.”

“Acceuil chaleureux. Belle propriété avec une grande terrasse et vue sur montagne et mer. Petit jardin agréable. Voiture ou scooter indispensable car la propriété est un peu en altitude, et la route est en pente importante. Il y a 2 voisins au rez de chaussée, mais sans aucun vis à vis, ni bruit.”

“Überaus nette und hilfreiche Vermieter, die im Haus nebenan wohnen. Ruhige, aussichtsreiche Lage und dennoch sind Bus, Minimarkt, Tavernen, langer, kindersicherer Strand fußläufig in gut 10 Minuten erreichbar. Gut eingerichtete Küche schattiger Garten.”
