“The place was quaint but the air conditioner didn’t work nor did the fridge. There was ants everywhere and the grass was so high around it that snakes were a concern. Was in a lovely location over looking vineyards. Not what we expected, definitely an experience and bit over priced but the host was a lovely person. ”

“Clean and ideally located albeit being a residential property in the main street surrounded by businesses means that not all civic functions realise you are trying to sleep between 12 and 2am. But that was a minor issue across 4 nights. ”

“We were blown away by the attention to detail, the host went way above and beyond what is expected from a short term rental. Sour doe bread and butter, complimentary wine, some cured meats juice, breakfast stuff etc. Really pleasant to just arrive and be able to get stuck immediately into our wine discovery weekend.”

“Plenty of space in good surroundings.The host was friendly and helpful.We planned to cook one night - bought some great produce at the farmers market (first time we cooked venison). We did find the kitchen a little under-equipped, and there were only 3 of us. Would have been difficult if there were more than 5.For what we thought would be a quiet area, the road out front was surprisingly busy all through the night.”

“We booked this stay for our 10th wedding anniversay and it did not dissapoint! We stayed for 5 nights and the house was equipped and stocked with more than enough food essentials and bathroom needs. The cellar door was a highligjt aswell! The staff are so friendly and knowledgable. Going in someer time was great to have access to a private pool to cool down. ”
