Extra things … like a ball for our dog to play with a note explaining the rules for having a dog in your room (very fair) and fresh cookies downstairs … all very worth the drive to get to the hotel. “Purchased a small bottle of wine to take to my room. It was spoiled so I took it to the front desk for an exchange. Shortly After, the bar manager came to my door with two bottles (750 ml) of fine red for my choice on the house and reimbursed for my original purchase. Absolutely a class act.”
