There were a couple areas of the resort (main pool deck and some of the swim up pool bridges) that had some deferred maintenance, but then we found out they are supposed to be getting a major remodel in those areas. It definitely did not affect our use or enjoyment of the property! Our group of 6 enjoyed all the restaurants and amenities. Beach was great, as was the swim up bar. We walked all the way to 7 mile beach- beautiful!

Christina pool bar attendant was amazing. Best attitude and most friendly person at the resort. Second was Kadeen the hostess at the Palms restaurant. Paula in the coffee bar was the third. Our room was amazing! Best room in the entire resort! However they play extremely loud music until 10 or 11 pm on the pool deck so do not expect to get to bed until after then. The food was just ok. Only 3 restaurant options for dinner and 1 was usually closed otherwise the buffet which was not the best. We were lucky to be able to walk or taxi to nearby restaurants to eat so the all inclusive was sort of a waste. Location was amazing. Best spot on the beach & in my opinion better then 7 mile beach. Simply the best location.

It is a beautiful resort! All the staff are very friendly and accommodating! We're going back there next year for a longer period of time. I wish they would have shirts made up with their resort on it. We absolutely recommend this place to everyone! They also have the best beach in Jamaica

We absolutely loved our proximity to the sea and our swim up pool to our own private patio. The food was average at best. Everything was over cooked and under seasoned. You definitely come for the view, not the food.

The staff, the beach, the hotel were fabulous. But they advertise as having 9 restaurants yet only 2 are open a day. The food on-site is bad at all restaurants / buffet except Italian (special thanks to Beverley Stewart and her team for nice service)

I just got back from 7 days in Jamaica and the Azul resort was excellent! The service was friendly and spot on. The food was wonderful. The beach was beautiful. The resort staff went above and beyond to make sure you felt safe and well attended to. I will be staying here again!

We had an amazing time at Azul Beach Resort in Negril! We stayed there for 10 days with 2 children (2 and 7 months old) and I would recommend this place to family and friends. The resort staff were very friendly (Tina was our favorite bartender and George made my little guy mac and cheese when it wasn't on the menu that night). There are only 3 a' la cartes but the food at the buffet every night was delicious. The resort is spread out along the beach so I feel like every room on the resort is basically beachfront. We spent the majority of our days on the beach since the water is shallow and great for kids swimming. You do have to wake up early to reserve a cabana for the day but it was never a problem for us. The coffee bar is great for those early morning coffees and the sunsets gave me Bali vibes. My only complaint would be that they call the room too much. Our phone rang every morning around 9am to see if we needed anything. I feel like a call after the first day of checking in would be enough for the whole trip. They also have room service available for those nights the kids are too tired to make it out for dinner. I say take the bad reviews with a grain of salt because this resort was 10/10! Already looking forward to our next visit!

My partner was told he coyld not have dinner because he could not remember his room number, he was wearing their upgraded braclet which should have been enough evidence he was a guest. Shower was very tricky freezing cold one minute, scalding hot the next. Power issues, power went off and on frequently, tough to blow dry my hair, but otherwise could live with.it.
