I recently completed my third stay at Sandy Haven, and while I’ve had great experiences in the past, this visit was unfortunately disappointing.
Previously, beach security—especially Sinclair—helped ensure a peaceful environment by minimizing harassment from vendors. This time, we were repeatedly approached while relaxing on the beach, and a simple “no thank you” was often not enough. It disrupted what should have been a relaxing experience.
Additionally, the included continental breakfast with mimosas was only fully available on three of my six days. No champagne was available on the other days, and no alternatives were offered.
While most staff were friendly, a few seemed disinterested or unhelpful when responding to basic questions. I understand it’s off-season, but the overall service felt below the usual standard I’ve come to expect.
I appreciate the experiences I’ve had at Sandy Haven and hope this feedback helps improve future guest stays.
