“We stayed in one of the historical room, and loved how antique and original everything looked! It felt super cozy! Hotel is in a great location, you can walk to the beach, to nearby restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay there again. The bathroom lights could use a fix though, as it kept flickering like crazy. ”

“Land's End is awesome. The BEST location, close to everything and our oceanview room was perfect. They even provided fire-logs for our fireplace, popcorn and dvd's. We loved Land's End and Ginger the poodle that greeted us at check-in. ”

“We were only here for one night but it is such a cute little cottage style setting. Very clean and our place came with a small kitchen. Bathroom was very small but did the job. The shower and bed were good. No air conditioning in the room (open window is an option) and they gave us a fan. Check in is about 1/2 block up the street which was still convenient. Overall it was a very nice stay and I would stay there again. No complaints. Modern & clean. ”

“We stayed here during our trip to Vernonia to ride the Banks/Vernonia bike trail. Staff was awesome and very friendly. We definitely will return next year.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Rockaway Beach Resort. The people were friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. We liked that the resort is right on a first-rate beach. The staff provided beach toys for my kids, and there is an outdoor shower to rinse the sand off. The pool area is dated but quiet and clean. There is also a dry sauna and hot tub which we made use of. We enjoyed that the resort offered DVD’s and games to borrow, and had complimentary packets of coffee and tea……

“Overall, my stay was average, but the standout was the Scottish gentleman Alan, who works there. He was fabulous in providing info about the hotel, the surrounding area, great hikes, and other sightseeing areas. He was professional and very friendly!!! I would rate him a 6 out of 5 stars! Above and beyond!!”
