“The room is smaller than expected, basically no space for luggage. Too many cushions on the bed given not a comfortable sofa is provided. The pool club is pricy without upfront information and surprisingly not free for hotel guests. There is no electric kettle or coffee maker in the room. Nevertheless, the breakfast is great. ”

“We stopped in Geilo because of the way back to Oslo from Bergen. We knew nothing before arrival but we finally knew that it’s the great place for skiing. After our arrival, we checked in at 7 or 8 pm but the staff still told us the necessary information. The room is spacious but the interior of the ground and underground are in progress of renovation. It will be better after it. The breakfast was good with sufficient choices. We just explored Geilo after it by the recommendation from the……

“This is a ski resort,but we were there in June. Nice rooms,excellent restaurant and very easy parking! Not much around the hotel itself,but it had a lot of activities. Pretty much halfway between Bergen and Oslo if you are driving. ”

“Es ist das einzige Hotel weit und breit, in dem ich auf einer Dienstreise nach Ål unterkommen kann. Es gefällt mir immer wieder sehr gut, obwohl nichts besonderes ist.”

“Så hyggelig på Rødberg Hotell, selv om det er gammelt og loslitt. Veldig rent, og med god smakfull mat på både frokostbufee og middager. Rikholdig meny. Det eneste som ikke var helt i orden, var høyden på toalettet på HC-rommet. De var for lave, og bør skiftes ut til noen utgaver som er 10 cm høyrere. Det var ikke mulig for meg i rullestol å bruke disse...Men fikk krisehjelp av hjemmesykepleien på stedet, også helt fantastiske. Og ellers var JAFS rett over veien, som hadde en perfekt……

“Veldig koselig fjellhotell med glimrende beliggenhet for fjellturer og fiske. Hotellet er litt slitt men veldig mye sjarm. Veldig hyggelig betjening. Anbefales.”

“Communication was slow and inefficient (they only replied a message in three days or so). Arrived late on the day and already told the camp site, then found that they didn’t provide the self check-in code as they thought payment was missing. Contacted hotels.com staff who was so nice to fix that. Upon checking in, the amenities were on a rather self service basis, That’s not too much of a problem, but we didn’t expect to put together even the beddings by ourselves by paying not a cheap amount of……
