“Our stay at this home was nothing short of amazing. When we arrived, we entered the home to a refreshing colt temperature as the a.c was left on prior to our arrival. The house was immaculate, and well taken care of. I am already looking into booking for a future rental for our family vacation. There are a lot of stairs from the home to the dock so be prepared if you are using the dock. Also needed to place a baby gate at the bottom of the stairs to prevent my little one from going up. “What’s not to say about this place?! From the comfy couches to the cozy beds this the perfect off-mountain stay for anybody hitting Killington Pico or any of the other nearby mountains. “Great location to explore trails and the area. Definitely was not a busy time which was great! The apartment is clean and updated. Very comfortable and enjoyed having a small outdoor area to eat. I also used the kitchen daily and it was quite functional. Prep area is a little small, but as can be expected. “It was convenient to a haunted castle in Proctor, downtown shopping in Rutland, and a gondola ride to the top of the mountain in Killington (it's also a ski resort). Venetia was extremely friendly. The room was clean, comfy, cozy, warm and quiet. But, bring a computer if you want to watch a movie ... no TV's. The main house is open 24/7 to use and they offer snacks/coffee/tea/hot chocolate. The outside is beautiful and there's a hot tub. They also start you a campfire! Very nice!”
