“We stayed in the Rhubarb room and lived the complete kitchen with a huge wet bar! Also having a coffee table and comfortable chairs/sofa was nice. Plenty of beds (5) for most families. The check in process was slightly confusing. Read the email carefully. The entry door was tough to find but it is right by the Restaurant du Banneret. The location was perfect, right by the Chateau. “The apartment was very comfortable. All bedrooms had blackout shutters, which was very nice. Lovely balcony with a pretty view of the towns rooftops and the water in the distance. We had a car so we didn’t use the bus system too much but there is a stop literally right outside the building that will take you all over the city. And the host provides guests with passes that gives access to the bus. Very convenient. The town is very pretty, and has lots of interesting places to se. We enjoyed our……

A Four-star hotel in 2026! Misleading information!

"My partner and I were appalled by the misleading information given on Hotels.com. We saw a plaque at the hotel entrance that says “Four Stars 2026”, which means right now it is NOT a four-star hotel; it is HELL. I don’t understand why we were given thick blankets at the height of summer, a dusty mini fan and a mini fridge that doesn’t work. We had the WORST sleep for two nights. We couldn’t open the windows because it was noisy outside. My partner became sick and I think my cancer got worst during our short stay. AVOID AT ALL COST!!"
