Enjoy the Thuringian Forest in the barrier-free vacation home "Bergwiese"

The vacation home "Bergwiese", which offers space for 3-4 people in the middle of the Thuringian Forest Nature Park, is ideal for short breaks and longer vacations. With its quiet location and wide view over the mountain meadows, it is an idyll to relax and decelerate.
On the barrier-free first floor you will find the bathroom with a large shower, a bedroom with a double bed, a spacious living room with a fireplace, a cozy sitting area with a selection of books and games, smart TV, dining table and a fully equipped open kitchen.
The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven and hood, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, kettle, coffee maker and toaster.
The gallery is another lounge area with a single bed and comfortable sofa.
An extra bed is possible in the living room or the gallery, depending on your needs.
The approx. 30m² lockable entrance area offers plenty of space to store everything from ski equipment to motorcycles.

There are 2 parking spaces available at the house.

The house is a non-smoking house, pets are not allowed.

From the covered veranda you have a wide, unobstructed view over the meadows to the forest or in the evening into the sparkling night sky.
Hiking trails lead directly along the property. The Rennsteig is only 1 km away. The adjacent mountain meadows are mowed from mid-August.

There is a nice restaurant in the village. The tubing facility is popular with young and old all year round. In winter, the toboggan slope, ski lift and cross-country ski trails provide varied sports and fun.
To the next shopping possibility it is 2 km.

Diverse destinations such as the glass city Lauscha, the toy city Sonneberg, the winter sports resort Oberhof, the Froebel city Oberweißbach with mountain railroad, the Saalfeld fairy caves or the Veste Coburg are very easy to reach and invite you to an unforgettable time out.

Wir haben die Unterkunft genossen.Genau wie wir uns es vorgestellt haben.Thüringen ist immer ein Ausflug wert.Wir haben uns nach etwas Entspannung, Auszeit vom stressigen Alltag gesehnt. Genau das haben wir bekommen. Ein schönes Häuschen, mit ausreichendem Platz. Entspannt in den Tag hinein gelebt und entspannt zuende gebracht. Es war alles da was wir gebraucht haben. Vom großen Parkplatz bis zur Kaffeemaschine war alles vorhanden. Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch und sagen herzlichen Dank. Gruß die Küstenlümmel

Mooi, rustig gelegen huisje
Huisje ligt mooi. Overdekt terras op het zuiden. Wij misten wel een parasol, een paar haken en schaduwdoek van de Tedi losten dat op. Geen bakkertje in het dorp, maar met een oven en afbakbroodjes vonden wij dat geen probleem. De huiskamer heeft geen gordijnen wat betekent dat de schuifdeur naar de slaapkamer dicht moet, en dus herrie maakt bij de nachtelijke toiletgang. Gordijnen in de slaapkamer zijn ook maar net aan. Evenals het beddegoed. Wij vonden de bedden vrij hard, maar dat is natuurlijk persoonlijk. Keukeninventaris lijkt ons voor 4 personen wat beperkt voor 2 echter prima. Behalve wandelen is er in de directe omgeving niet veel te beleven, dan moet je wat verder weg. Voor ons geen probleem. Wij hebben 2 prima weken gehad. wat betekent

Peaceful and quiet home on the edge of the forest
We stayed on this property from 31st July till 4th August 2024.The property is located on the edge of the forest giving an unobstructed view of the forest. The property looks exactly like in the photos. Host was very nice and the check-in was very smooth. We had a great time staying at this property.

Modernes Ferienhaus inmitten der Natur
Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Das Ferienhaus bietet alles Notwendige. Besonders schön ist die überdachte Terrasse mit Blick auf eine Bergwiese und den Waldrand. Erholung pur! Mit dem Auto sind Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Ausflugsziele etc. In der Nähe gut erreichbar. Die Vermieter sind super nett und geben gerne gute Tipps.

Nice and comfortable stay in the Thuringian Forest
We had a lovely stay at this cottage. The owner is very committed and is more than willing to help you out and make your stay more comfortable. We very much appreciated it. The view of the cottage is lovely, the busy road at the front of the house is hardly noticeable while sitting outside. There’s a storage unit at the front of the house where you can store your bikes, ski’s, or in our case our walking equipment. The kitchen is fully equipped. The living room has a small couch and a chair, as well as a small dining table. There’s one bedroom with a double bed in the bedroom on the ground floor. There’s another single bed on the (open) first floor. When we stayed at this cottage, the bathroom still needed a shower enclosure. We enjoyed a comfortable stay at this place with a lot of walking options in the area. Recommended!

Waren drie nachten in de blockhausperle. Wat een heerlijk huis, school, ruim, alles aanwezig. Vriendelijke gastvrouw. Ligt wel buiten het centrum van Oldenburg, maar met de bus ben je daar in 20 minuten. Supermarkten zijn ook wat verder weg, maar wel prima qua assortiment.
