“Loved everything about the caboose. Immaculately clean and the attention to detail. The only problem is the beds. They have the old metal springs which one of the most uncomfortable and painful sleeping experiences of my life. Maybe ok for little kids but not a person in their 50’s. We ended up sleeping in the 2 chairs. Area did not have too much but I did love watching the functional trains across the back area. I would give my review 5 stars except for the beds.”

“My husband and I stayed here for a week in the run up to our wedding, and we couldn't have picked a better spot! The house is incredibly well maintained, very clean, and with very nice appliances (including a dishwasher). Inside, the entire side of the upper level facing the lake has contiguous windows, providing a stunning view of Wyman pond and the large hills behind it. “Little Dipper Retreat was pure bliss! I went for just a few days with my dog to unwind after the school year ended, and the cottage exceeded all expectations. The interior of the property was spotless, well-appointed, and appliances were all up to date, including excellent wifi and air conditioning. The dock, patio and yard were private and well-maintained, and the kayaks and paddleboat were in excellent condition. The water is shallow, calm and very clear for a lake, so I felt comfortable……
