Expertly decorated this light airy home has a fun and whimsical feel inside. With leather and rattan furnishings and pops of color, this home is a delight to behold. Upon entering the upstairs be greeted with picturesque views of Canyon Lake. Kick back and relax in the living area in the rattan swing chair, or settle in on the comfy sofa bed and watch a movie on the flat screen television. Enjoy, gorgeous lake views, while preparing meals in this fully furnished kitchen with plenty of counter space and all the appliances one could need. With seating for everyone, enjoy meals, at the breakfast bar with rattan bar stools or a family meal at the chic dining table with bench seating that seats six. With a fabulous outdoor terrace that overlooks Canyon Lake, relax in the lounging area and grill your favorites.

When it’s time to rest for the night there are a variety of options to accommodate your group. There are two bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom with a light and airy feel offers a king size bed as well as a spacious bathroom for plenty of room to clean up. The second bedroom with nautical decor hosts two sets of twin bunk beds making it a great space for kids.
The third bedroom is located on the first floor of this property and is a private efficiency suite. This tropical one room suite has plenty of room for couples. Enjoy a full kitchen, with everything one could possibly need to prepare meals, the one bedroom space has a queen bed with tropical accents and the living space has a comfortable sofa bed with touches of rattan and palms. Enjoy a romantic meal in the dining area that is perfect for two. Refresh in the roomy bathroom that has a large shower. Relax outside and enjoy sunsets and lake views under the stars from the private porch area. (This lovely suite shares an entrance with the Scenic Retreat)

If you are looking for outdoor fun Hannock Trail is only five minutes away, enjoy a beach area and nature trails. Overlook Park is just a 10 minute drive, enjoy clear water and views of the lake from higher points. Rent a pontoon boat, or jet ski on Canyon Lake. Take a day trip to Gruene, home to the historic Gruene Hall, enjoy music and dancing, or dine at the delicious Gristmill Restaurant. A day of shopping in the downtown square of Wimberley or swimming,and hiking at the famous Jacobs Well, Zip Line Adventure, or Blue Hole regional Park offers swimming and nature trails. Visit New Braunfels, float the beautiful Guadalupe River, rent paddle boats or picnic at Landa Park, swim at the Spring Fed Pool, spend the day at Schlitterbahn Water Park, or visit one of the local wineries or breweries for wine or beer tasting. This property beautiful but doesnt allow pets not even if they are service animals or what they feel is ADA approved. The communication was very slow so if you have question feel free to wait longe period's of time. The property stove barely works only 2 burners worked. But overall beautiful property lots to do could use 2 burners. Also id

The house was really nice. We loved the view and the pool. The jacuzzi was nice but was not fully operational. The game room was really nice but it had a strong smell as if it had recently been bug sprayed. The rack for the pool sticks fell off the wall. The pots in the kitchen were really old. And the toilet paper dispenser was not secured on the wall as well. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

A lot of warn out things that need attention, the pics don't accurately represent the state of things. Dishwasher was broken for the duration of our stay, and there were no dish towels to dry dishes. MGMT company couldn't provide more, were told to use bath towels which had a strong smell of laundry detergent fragrance (which we were allergic to). AC was broken in the game room. Overall, we had a nice time together and enjoyed the view from the deck.

Came with family and friends. Kids were ages 10-13. Game room was a lot of fun. Video games and darts were a big hit. Pool was nice to cool off in after being on the river all day. Grocery store close by for necessities. Really nice view on the top patio of the lake. Fire pit was nice, but could use some TLC with the weeds and overgrown grass. Great stay and would definitely stay again.

Fairly modern house with plenty of room for family gatherings. Rooms were clean and the property was in average condition. Nice pool and hot tub. Porch had plenty of seating with gas grill and view of Canyon Lake. Several "cosmetic" upgrades should be addressed. Pool gate had no lock; we found a bungee cord that sufficed. Pool hose has a leak and is wasting a lot of water for the owner. Kitchen had sufficient plates/silverware. Pots were fine but pans need to be replaced! Cooking sheets were coated with rust. One tea maker in the pantry had not been cleaned, very gross mold. Small drip coffee maker filter had not been cleaned, mold growing on old coffee grounds. House pics showed a large drip coffee make but there was none. Keurig coffee maker was now there. Dishwasher worked but was not physically connected to the counter top and was mobile. Windows facing the lake had not been cleaned. Downstairs refrigerator was not working. All of this falls on the cleaning staff; they are not doing their job. We were told at the last minute that the AC in the game room was not working. This was not an issue, but we should have been given more notice. If this rental house was given a deep cleaning, inside and out, it would be an excellent rental.

Celebrating 40th bday girls weekend. The stove top only had 2 working burners - the dishwasher smelled like sewer when we opened it. Dishes in the cupboard were dirty. Only one old skillet and one 1 qt pot to cook. Extra blankets and pillows were not clean. The Pac-Man and other game did not work.Propane tank for patio fire pit was empty the rental company brought one the next day. The layout of the house was great it just wasn’t as advertised considering the cleaning fees I was charged.

The pictures are great, but the property is actually more beautiful than shown in the pictures. We did not have any pets or children with us, but there is a mother-in-law type suite downstairs, which would have been perfect if we did need to have a little separation. The view from the balcony is perfect. The overall set up of the property in general is fabulous. And the neighborhood is so peaceful we barely even heard another vehicle drive by. We will absolutely return in the near future!

The house has so much built in entertainment you don’t need to leave. The view of the lake off the main kitchen/living area is breath taking, and it boasts enough sleeping space for 2 families. It’s minutes from two grocery stores, the beach, marina, & dam, and has multiple dining experiences within 30 minutes. Such a great location just 30 minutes from San Marcos, Gruene, & San Antonio. This was our second stay at this property as it has it all!

The view of the lake from the deck and inside the house was incredible! It was decorated nicely. The game room was fun and was super cool. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool. After looking at many of the rentals I really thought this one had the best layout and amenities. The only cons to this rental was the cleanliness of the kitchen cabinets and the kitchen was not equipped as much as It could of been. The showers could use some bleach to kill the mold. Overall we enjoyed our stay.and would stay here again.

First, there were several things the owners could not control. They couldn't control the 37-degree morning of our stay. They couldn't control the open fire ban in the county. They had the hot tube and pool running which the teenage boys with me used for a polar plunge after a game of horse. The hot tub topped out at 99. The place was /clean and my boys had a great time. We were going to rent a boat for swimming but the lake was way too cold and the water level was low. I saw one boat on the lake while we were there. The game room was great and kept the boys occupied. From darts to the nice addition of a pac-man video game, the game room provided lots of late-night fun. The house had plenty of board games, card decks, and places to play. Overall, good house for us to stay. We would like to have used the fire pit for a fire to sit around (no open flames) but the couch area had a propane-fed table with fire in the center which allowed us to sit around and talk and joke.
