Welcome to your home away from home! Our apartment offers the perfect blend of modern amenities, cozy charm, convenience and comfort. We're an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers.

The unit sleeps six and features: a queen bed, a day bed with trundle, and twin bunks. Whether you're here for a short visit or an extended stay, we look forward to hosting you and making your stay in New Glasgow unforgettable!
The home is over 100 years old.

Key Features:

Location: Nestled right downtown, just steps away from cafes, restaurants, shops, and public transportation, ensuring you have access to everything the town has to offer.

Space: The apartment boasts a living area with large windows that flood the space with natural light. It includes a comfortable seating area, a dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen including a coffee maker and microwave.

Queen-sized bed, high-quality linens, luggage racks, lamps with charging ports for your devices and space to store your belongings. There is a second bedroom with a twin bed.

The bathroom is stocked with fresh towels, toiletries, and everything you need for a relaxing stay.

Amenities: Enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with Roku streaming services.

Extras: We provide complimentary coffee and tea and microwave popcorn.

Safety: The apartment is in a two unit home, the homeowner lives on-site. You have your own private entrance, with front porch and outdoor dining area. The doorbell cam on the front of the house provides coverage of the main entrance and the parking lot.

We follow enhanced cleaning protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for all our guests.

Parking: The parking lot is directly across the street. Guests can use the owner's driveway briefly to load and unload.

You are walking distance from downtown New Glasgow. Located directly across the street from the Westside Plaza which includes: Sobeys, NSLC, Scotiabank ATM, Greco, Chicks R Us Broasted Chicken, etc.

You are just steps away from: Carmichael Park, the Samson Trail, Rotary Park and Picnic Area with Little Free Library.

Also within walking distance: China Boat and Tilly's Kitchen restaurants.

A short stroll across the bridge you will find: Glasgow Square Theatre, New Glasgow Farmers Market, Pioneer Trail Head, Viola's Way and all the ammenities of Downtown New Glasgow!

Guests with no reviews or incomplete profiles may be asked to provide additional informaiton. When the booking is confirmed they may be asked to provide a government-issued ID (showing their photo and name) to arrange for self-check-in. I can't give someone a key to my house based on a first name, avatar or handle. Please have an updated and complete profile.

Guests checking in who do not ressemble their profile photos may be asked for ID, as we do not accept third party bookings. The person booking the apartment must be present for the stay. If a third party booking is made, and the person making the booking is not present, the reservation will be cancelled, the unregistered guests will be asked to leave and no refund will be given.

Please note the following important house rules:
This is a non-smoking property. No smoking or vaping or e-cigarettes allowed inside or in common areas. As this is a non-smoking property any smoking or vaping odour will result in an additional cleaning fee of not more than $500.00.
Animals are not allowed
No unregistered guests. No more than 6 people. You are responsible for your guests’ behaviour.
No parties or events.
Lost keys = replacement fee
Remove shoes when in the apartment.
Don’t rearrange the furniture.
Check out is at 10:00 AM.
Guest agrees to pay damages.
Extra clean up beyond the allocated 2.5 hours = extra charge.
Any pungent odour left in the home due to cooking, personal care, prank, etc. that requires a deep clean will result in an additional cleaning fee of not more than $250.00.
Pick up toys that have been played with.
Wash the dishes you used.
No littering inside or outside. Use the garbage and recycling bins provided inside and outside.
No sparkles or confetti.
Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM. TV needs to be at medium volume after 10:00 PM. No loud noises after 10:00 PM.
Do not cut directly onto the counter tops or appliances, use the cutting board supplied.
Parking is across the street.

Failure to adhere to these rules may result in immediate cancellation of your booking without a refund. Additionally, any damage, excessive cleaning beyond the allotted 2.5 hours, or time spent handling violations (e.g., unauthorized gatherings requiring police or Airbnb intervention) may result in additional charges. While such incidents are rare (only three occurrences in the past seven months), it is important to set clear expectations.

Property walking distance to grocery store and downtown. Sits on a fairly busy street. The accommodations were tight. We had 4 people. 2 of the beds are in the front room so no couch( sitting area). The one very small room had rickety bunk beds that squeaked with every turn. We had difficulty opening and closing the door due to lack of space and there was very limited space to move around. Basically a closet with a window- no exaggeration. I’d say this in a fine property for 2-3 people at most. It’s basic but it has everything you need in a very convenient, albeit slightly noisy location.

Clean but cluttered

I stayed with my son. So 2 adults. The place was clean and the landlady nice. The apt. was very small and cluttered mostly because of the size of the apt. There was 2 beds in the living room as soon as you walk in. The apt is approx 10 feet wide and 18 feet long with a bedroom 5 x 8 with a bunkbed that only had a foot beteen the wall and the bed. Good for a night maybe 2. the apt

Just lovely

Great central location in Pictou county, and specifically, New Glasgow. I was able to walk to restaurants, downtown, groceries, parks. And very quick (<10 minutes) drive to theatres, malls, and Stellarton, Westville, and about 20 minutes to the town of Pictou. The unit itself was very cozy, clean and has all the little things you need to stay comfortably away from home (kitchen utensils, appliances, towels, shampoo, Wifi , etc.) Michelle is a diligent renter, attention to detail is obvious, as the unit is very tidy, check-in/check-out is seamless, and has information on everything a tourist to the area would need to know about the area. Overall very happy with my stay, and I would definitely return to this unit if I came back to visit again. Thanks Michelle!

Nice little place

The home was easy to find and the host was responsive and helpful. Parking was fine. All areas inside were clean and neat. The wifi worked just fine and the beds were comfy. Because two of us snore and the third can't tolerate snoring, it was quite helpful that the two sleeping areas are at different ends of the space with a door that can be closed between. Easy walking distance to several nice restaurants. Many positives. The only thing that is not ideal is the space is small and crowded. The front door only opens partially because the queen bed is in the way. We each stubbed our toes on the trundle bed wheels as we walked between it and the little dining table. We each had one medium-size bag and ended up using the twin bed above the trundle to store them on; there were two luggage racks stored in the bathroom, but the only possible place to use them is in the middle of the kitchen or in front of the bathroom door. The small space was workable for us three, but I can't imagine that six people could stay in the space as is stated. Probably it would work out better to remove the twin/trundle bed from the front area where the other bed and kitchen/dining area are and just say the space is meant for not more than four.
