The property is a motel and is 2 separate buildings. If you have mobility issues, this is not ideal. I have a broken ankle and requested an accessible shower. Room 24 is accessible, in the rear of the main building. For accessibility, you must access it from a side ramp toward the rear.
Unfortunately, there was a new staff person, who was very nice and professional, that understood the accessible room was on the second floor and only accessible via a staircase in the lobby. I questioned that several times, dropped my daughter off to her room in the other building, came back, the front desk gentleman had checked to see if there were any other accessible rooms, and he was not able to find one. I then proceeded (with crutches) up to the 2nd floor and could not find room 24, the 2nd floor rooms started at 26. He then realized that room 24 was in the back. I then had to climb back down the stairs, go to the rear of the building, and then go up additional stairs and down a bit to get to the room. There is no direct accessible access to the ADA room from the lobby (note this for breakfast).
I am not sure how often room 24 gets used, the room appeared clean but the top sheet on the bed had some minor spot staining). Interestingly, they store the hair dryer along the bar/handle by the toilet (which is where you would use support to access the toilet).
Otherwise the room is fine (two queen beds), 15-10 minutes to Sacred Heart (much closer to Fairfield U).
Basic breakfast included
