Hotel was in a great location, clean rooms. Staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was a nice treat hotel was in close proximity to everything very walkable. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, responded to requests quickly, but no housekeeping on third day as stated, had to request on day 4. Breakfast our last day, no bread left for toast. When we asked staff, they stated “someone must have taken it all” but did not replenish it.

This property needs some safety updates. The elevators were very sketchy. At one point one elevator stopped working and there was only one to use and sometimes the doors would not open and it stopped on random floors. The door would not lock to our room. They would not change our room so we had to rig the door to get it locked. The air in the room would not work. My husband worked on it himself to get it to come on and cool. I thought I reserved an accessible room, but their idea of accessible is to have handles in the shower. The location is great because it is close to everything. Next time we will go Marriott or Sheraton. For just a few more dollars, it would be worth it to pick a different location.

I booked two rooms here. Site says self parking but that’s a lie. Had to pay $50 for valet. I paid for the destination fee when I booked the rooms but was charged again for the fees when I checked in. Understaffed. Both rooms were not ready and on different floors. The room smelled bad and was very outdated and looked more like a side road motel. Very limited tv channels and the remote half worked. Only plus to our stay was walking distance from everything. We waited 15 minutes or more for our car to be brought down and my seat and screen settings had been changed. Not happy at all. Will not stay here again and do not recommend.

Expedia falsely advertises that the hotel offers parking (at a relatively reasonable rate of $30 per night for Downtown New Orleans), which is a major attraction. However the hotel DOES NOT offer parking! Instead, the desk clerk can direct you to neighboring parking lots, some of which are unsafe and overpriced and others are simply overpriced. This is really misleading.

There was a smell we had to call for heat and engineer had to come. Well once he did that we couldn’t switch the air back on. This is the wrong place for the thermostat not to work. I travel often and have stayed at a few LaQuinta’s and this has by far been my worst experience.

Bad wifi, Bad AC, they charge a 35$ DAILY hosting fee that they only tell you when you show up to check in. It doesn't show on Expedia as well. Felt shady when I got tot he counter and checked in. Wont be staying there again.

The vending area was not kept up. Very limited in what drinks or other items were available. The breakfast was sketchy at best. Only one day out of four did they have everything they should have had. Also, there was a $30/day charge added for "facilities fees" whether you used anything or not plus the trash was not emptied in our room the four days we were there. l agree I don't need clean towels or sheets everyday, but it does look like they could at least check. The front desk staff was outstaning.
