Wonderful hotel! The staff is so nice the rooms are very clean and the courtyard around the pool is quiet. I do wish they did not heat the pool so much however. It's hot enough in New Orleans and when you come out of jazz fest it would be nice to dive into a coolish pool. The hot water spa spills over into the pool so it's quite warm and not refreshing. I suppose it might be soothing in the winter but New Orleans in early May is more like the summer everywhere else.

Absolutely perfect hotel. So clean and comfortable. Beautiful space very well maintained. Classic old New Orleans feel. The bed was super comfortable. The room felt very private and the climate control was perfect. This hotel seems to be in a great location very walkable to everything in the Quarter, yet still easy to navigate via Uber. Very nice pool. Comfortable temperature, clean, with a very nice hot tub.

This was my second time staying here and I absolutely love it. It’s in the middle of everything easy to walk to all areas. The staff are so warm and welcoming. I love the charm in history of the house. I would definitely recommend a stay here

3rd time here. Only minus is they decided to remove refrigerators from rooms except suites. A bizarre decision. Best part,no kids. Relaxing oasis.

I was not aware at time of booking that my room would be in a separate building in the back with no sunlight except for window open to gangway. There was considerable overhead noise - I did not feel safe walking to room at night Otherwise it was very pleasant - with some additional landscaping the pool would be very lovely - the entry to my room also was very worn and needs an update - would be nice to have some other amenities in lobby like continental breakfast - Also room definitely needs hooks for towels and additional hooks for wet swim suits, etc.

kleine niedliche aber leider in die Jahre gekommene und hellhörige Pansion mit Garten (etwas vertrocknet), Springbrunnen (läuft 24/7!) und Pool (angenehm beheizt) mit Whirlpool (für mein Empfinden schon zu heiß beheizt). Alle Zimmer mit Klimaanlage, die allerdings im Betrieb sehr laut sind. Keine Kühlschränke vorhanden. Lagern von Lebensmitteln daher nicht möglich. Badezimmer ohne Jalousie. Es existierte lediglich außen eine Lade, die aber auch nur von außen geschlossen werden konnte, da sich die Fenster nicht öffnen ließen. Wer also Spaß haben wollte, hätte mir von der Veranda aus beim Duschen o.a. zugucken können. Unser Zimmer hatte seitlich ein schmales zimmerhohes Fenster zur Straße hin (Nische zum Nachbarhaus). Leider war nur der untere Teil durch eine Lade verschlossen, sodass der morgendliche Sonnenschein genau auf den Kopfbereich unseres Bettes schien. Schlafen ging also nur mit Augenmaske und Ohrenstöpsel (Brunnen). Fazit: ich würde diese Pansion nicht nochmal buchen. Niedlich reicht hier dann leider doch nicht aus.

This is a great location righ the edge of the French quarter, however although we were generally satisfied there are a few things that are noted in the information we found. There is no elevator, so if have trouble with this not the place for you. They have a nice pool however they don't provide extra towels, the and sink drains were very slow. I spite of that we would probably stay there again because of the location.

The property pictures look nicer than when you show up to the entrance. It was a great stay as far as comfortable bed and room. Shower and bathroom were nice. Rooms are intimate sized. Would have liked atleast a microwave on the property. Conveniently located next to businesses. For Mardi Gras this place was quiet.
