The hotel is attractive and conveniently located. But the staff needs work. Our room flooded when a toilet in the room above ours overflowed. The staff then was slow to respond and the hotel has apparently reneged on a promise to provide a partial refund to pay for some damaged possessions. Other issues: no shampoo or other toiletries in the room until the second day; no bottled water in the room as advertised; morning coffee pot near lobby wasn't promptly refilled; the pool on the one day we had good weather looked very nice, but some of the already-limited seating had "reserved" signs.

Perfekte Unterkunft für den Besuch des French Quarter in NOLA. Das Gebäude ist wie die ganze Umgebung viele Jahre alt und das sieht man natürlich auch. Es ist aber sauber und gepflegt, der kleine Pool im Innenhof ist ruhig und zweckmäßig. Parken ist zwar teuer (weiß man aber bereits im Vorfeld), aber mit einer sehr großzügigen Fläche und gut geschützt. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten im French Quarter sind fußläufig leicht erreichbar. Ich würde es jederzeit wieder buchen!

Kind of on the edge of the French Quarter makes for a peaceful stay. Pool area is lovely and the bar is a cozy & classy place to sit. Balcony rooms are worth the small upcharge!

This is my fourth stay at this property, obviously it’s a satisfactory experience. Best part, they offer off street parking for $45…so your car is off the street safe. Self park on property, not valet. Best kept secret. There is a small enjoyable breakfast spot just behind the hotel called “Envie”. Homemade biscuits, eggs … and other hot foods. The bacon & biscuits were exquisite. All made to order. If you want pastries, croissants or sandwiches….this is your go to. Delicious The rooms are new, simple, comfortable, tile floors, a valuable safe, mini fridge….and wonderful bed to accommodate from those long French Quarter walks. It’s off the beaten path…still in the French Quarter…but away from the hustle of Bourbon Street. Amazing staff, Becky, Marisol …all exceptional hospitality stars. Thank you for another stay !!!!

I lovingly referred to our hotel as “ghostly”, meaning it had an old New Orleans vibe. The only challenge was the room needed a microwave for heating up leftovers. A small microwave was provided at poolside.

The pre-checking is not worth it. You spend a lot of time doing it only to have to wait at the lobby anyway to check in again. It took a while. The front desk service is great and the hotel is kitschy and cute. The room is well laid out and clean, also spacious. The hotel is located in a good location in downtown NOLA.

The honeymoon sweet is very large considering the older style of hotel. Rooms were very clean, comfy bed, large shower. Hotel is closer to French street and French Market which makes it nice and quiet. Bourbon St. is about 20 minute walk. Everything is walking distance and Uber is easy to get. Gladly stay again.

Mixed Experience - Some positives but disappointing surprises. While the staff was friendly, the facilities were clean, and the parking was convenient — which I appreciated — there were several issues that took away from the overall experience. The bar and restaurant were closed, and there was no mention of this on any booking site. That lack of transparency was disappointing, especially since I specifically booked there for on-site pool amenities. Additionally, I had to move rooms because the air conditioning in my original room was not working. Although the staff did attempt to address the issue, the move happened after three attempts to rectify the issue, and only after I requested it — no accommodations were offered proactively. Although the hotel itself was quiet and tidy, the street noise was a constant issue — loud even in the middle of the night and early morning, which made it hard to get restful sleep. Another downside was the cost. For what I paid, the room is overpriced compared to other nearby hotel options. While I understand New Orleans can be pricey during certain weekends, the value just was not there in this case. The pictures do not match reality: This is a 3-star hotel at best and my total costs were more than 4-star hotels in the area. Overall, while there are some positives, I would not stay here again unless some of these issues are addressed.
