I had an incredibly disappointing stay at this hotel. After a long international flight, all I wanted was to check into a clean, comfortable room and rest. Instead, I went through three different rooms, each with serious issues.
Room 1 had:
• A non-working bathtub
• A broken phone
• The room was freezing, and I was told there were no heaters available
• Dirty bed sheets, and the sink and bathtub were full of dark hair
I reported everything to the front desk. They claimed no other rooms were available — until a technician came, confirmed the problems, and only then did they magically find another room. This made me feel they were dishonest from the beginning.
Room 2 wasn’t any better. It had similar cleanliness and maintenance issues, and again I had to go back to the front desk and manager. Finally, they gave me Room 3, which turned out to be the worst of them all.
The third room was located next to loud AC/mechanical equipment that services the entire building. The noise was so bad I couldn’t sleep. I called for help and waited over an hour for an engineer to arrive — and this was already past midnight. He confirmed this noise issue has always existed in that area of the hotel.
To make matters worse, the receptionist was extremely rude. She denied knowing anything about the problem and basically said it was my issue, not theirs. She even told me, “Maybe this hotel isn’t for you,” and asked if I wanted to leave in the middle of the night.
