We loved the historic atmosphere of this hotel and the staff was amazing! The roof top pool was a fun evening activity for our family since we didn’t really want to take our kids out at night. The only downside was that there was construction going on in the lobby and right outside of our window.

The property was very excellent it was very clean and it was in the main part of New Orleans which was Bourbon Street. The only complaint I would give is the valet service is not the best but overall it a good property to stay

Valley parking was not made available. Only after we insisted. Room was not ready till after 5 pm. Room was not as was described. Extremely long time to retreave car from the parking. 45 min and still waiting...

The hotel was very clean and nice. The emergency alarm went off twice at 3 am and none of the staff knew what was happening but everyone evacuated the hotel and was just standing in the lobby.

Excellent vintage property within walking distance to Bourbon Street and surrounding areas. I would prefer an updated TV only. Staff is kind and helpful. Housekeeping kept the room clean daily. Also they have a text system for communicating that is helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is a beautiful old hotel...we had a room with a courtyard patio which was perfect for morning coffee. Unfortunately, we couldn't get a working coffee pot for 3 days and then we couldn't get coffee cups on the fourth day...our stay was 5 nights. We took turns going down to Morsels to buy coffee...Morsels is not a small cafe with fresh pastries...it is a mini mart where you can order coffee.The bathroom had excellent water pressure but we had a very slow moving drain making shower timing tricky even to the point of having to step into our partner's dirty shower water. We notified management every day and told that the problem was fixed but it never was. On the fourth day, management offered to change our room...my husband said no...too late. Management did compensate us by giving us a free night and sending a bottle of wine to the room. The location of the hotel is in the French Quarter and perfect for a very walkable trip with everything near by. The hotel has a "Happy Hour". The first night it took over an hour to get our appetizer..they charged another couple for it although they said they never got it ...they were the only other guests in the room. The Rib Room had very good food but no filets...they were out. Over-all we enjoyed our stay in New Orleans but we will choose another hotel next trip down.

Overall, I really liked the Omni. It’s in a great location and very walkable to many places in the French Quarter. Frank brought our luggage to our room. He went above and beyond and showed us where everything in the room was and told us about the amenities the hotel offered. We received free water bottles every day. The lobby is beautiful, and there is live music there throughout the week. One afternoon, they served free ice cream. The rooftop and pool were relaxing. We received credit for the Rib Room and really enjoyed our dining experience. Fernandez was a joy to have as our server and provided exceptional service. Unfortunately, I booked two rooms for my family and both of them had problems requiring us to move to different rooms. My parents’ room had a clogged sink, which affected the plumbing. Our room started leaking water from the ceiling in the shower and closet. We were thankful that both times they moved us easily and waived our destination fees. Housekeeping was hit or miss. One day, they came but didn’t empty the garbage or make the bed. They did move the way my luggage was arranged in the corner… One day, they cleaned at night; another, in the morning. Once, I noticed that the washcloth and eyeglasses on my nightstand were gone. My husband found my glasses behind the nightstand. Very careless. Ultimately, the Omni is a great hotel, but it would benefit from better maintenance and housekeeping.

If you stay here….. BE AWARE! I stayed here for 4th of July weekend. From Houston. The self park garage was being ‘worked on’ so valet parking was the only option we were given. Was NEVER told it would be a $56/night valet fee!!!! Had an excursion reservation, called valet an hour prior and never made it. Kept telling me “driver was in traffic”. My app showed the car STILL PARKED at where they valet it. NOT IMPRESSED

The staff was AMAZING. They went out of their way to be nice. If you stay here you MUST have a balcony. It was so neat to see everything and the rooms are pretty small so it added a little special touch. Very cool and the rooftop pool and pool bar were great!

A nice property. Room cleaning was very minimal and bad experience with employee who assisted with delivery of luggage to our room. He pretty much threw our luggage at the front of our room. All the other staff were great.
