We enjoyed our stay! Our first room faced onto Canal Street which is very noisy into the wee hours of the morning, so was difficult to get a full night's sleep even with earplugs. The hotel was accomodating and gave us the special room with no outside windows. It was much quieter. They had a small breakfast with cereal, muffins and yogurt available. The surrounding area felt a little bit sketchy with homeless people, but the hotel itself keeps the front door locked via key card entry. The staff were all really kind and willing to help if needed. I would have appreciated either a microwave or even a coffee maker in the room.

Net, schoon hotel midden in het centrum op loopafstand van de bezienswaardigheden. Valet parkeren dus geen parkeerproblemen. Vanwege de locatie natuurlijk wel gehorig maar voor ons niet storend. Dus als je centraal in New Orleans wilt zitten in een comfortabel hotel dan kan je dit hotel gerust boeken.

really enjoyed our stay. staff was very friendly and helpful. valet parking was kind of pricy but definitely worth it & secure in a garage, not a lot. you have to have a key card to enter the lobby, and then again use your key card twice to go up the elevator. was confusing at first but overall made the building feel very secure. it was relatively quiet for being right off of canal (but we did stay during the week so this may be different on the weekends. 24 hour lobby attendant was also appreciated. hotel bar was closed on wednesday by 4 when we checked in, but was open on thursday evening. we were in town for a concert so didn’t take advantage of it, but definitely will next time. 100% will book again.

Conceptually it's a good hotel. it's clean with big rooms. location is great but also it's too noisy on Canal street, especially at night with bar music and hot rod vehicles and ambulances. Staff are ok - bartender super personable but the rest are not so customer oriented. Would be great for Mardi Gras, but Inam not staying there again.

We stayed one night at The Rubenstein before our cruise. We were in walking distance of the French quarter and Burbon Street. There were great restaurants for supper and breakfast.

This hotel was reasonably priced and located near major attractions in the French Quarter. It was an easy walk to dozens of restaurants and bars. The room was small but clean. There was no window in the room, so it was slightly claustrophobic but overall it was ok for me. The hotel has a bar in the lobby, but it was closed for some reason the day we were there (a Tuesday). The hotel also included a minimal breakfast (yogurt) in the price. The hotel has no self parking and the price for valet is steep, but in line with other hotels in the area. Based on room cost combined with parking cost, I found this to be the best price in the area for this class of hotel.

The room was amazing! You see the pictures when you book but the reality never quite matches. With the Rubenstein the reality was actually better. The room was gorgeous! Everything was perfect. The only thing I’d change was the barn style bathroom door. The staff was very friendly and were extremely accommodating. We walked all over New Orleans from our hotel and, if you’re using the street car, it picks you up just down the street. We would definitely stay again and would recommend it to anyone.

The woman at the front desk was incredibly helpful! She even gave my boys maps with the hotel marked and other points of interest. She was super patient with us during the check in process as well. Also our room was spacious and quiet. Super comfy beds!
