It is within a couple blocks of downtown Wakefield with its cute shops, art studios, WWII museum and Brinkley's ice cream and it is just a half-hour to Newport for fun day excursions, and within 10 minutes to some wonderful RI Beaches. “The cottage met all our needs. It is nestled between two marinas and in a quiet neighborhood. It is small but very efficient. One of the marinas has a small restaurant for breakfast and lunch and the owner of the restaurant is super friendly. Sitting out on the deck in the warm sun was lovely. We enjoyed our stay. ”
