I spent 4 nights at this hotel. First night I head up to the rooftop to see the views and as soon as I get there an employee is yelling at us saying that no minors are allowed at the rooftop. Last time I checked a requirement to stay at this hotel is being 21+ I let him know my friend and I were over age (I am 30) As soon as I got out of the elevator another employee asked if I was there for drinks because if I was she wanted to let me know the bar was closed. I decided to head back to my room, it seemed like an inconvenience for us to be up there. A day before leaving we headed to the rooftop as it was our last day there, it was 10 pm and the rooftop was already closed. Eventhough they advertise closing at 11pm. Overall front desk staff was friendly, we had nice views. But sadly I didn’t get to enjoy the rooftop views! Not sure if I would stay here again.

Location is good and you’re the garment district. However, the rooms are very small. I would say more European style. Hotel was clean, neat and the room was well organized. The front desk staff was friendly. The bar and restaurant area was very loud at night. Lobby coffee shop did not open until 7 AM which for business travelers is late.

I loved this property although I only stayed for 24 hrs.. it was an overall great experience. The staff is accommodating and friendly. Because it was my birthday I asked if I could get a city view room and they made it possible. The view is gorgeous just like the picture.This is the city so the rooms are not that big .. it’s nice and cozy and clean. The bed is comfy.. the room comes with the regular fixings and a treat on the bed upon walk in. Although I didn’t get to use the amenities they have a rooftop a study quiet room a diner that’s open to 11 and more. It’s close to Penn Station so you can walk if you choose .. it’s about $15 in an Uber. Checkout time is actually reasonable and they hold your bags after checkout. Overall no complaints. Can’t wait to go back and stay longer.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable, and the rooms were clean and felt safe. The rooftop bar has a great view of the Empire State (they don't advertise this). However, the first day the cleaning staff damaged my glasses while cleaning, and the hotel first told us it must have been me and I must just not have realised, and then said we should have kept all valuables in the safe. They did not take any responsibility. It was quite disappointing as they were new glasses and I need them to see, and will require me to pay to fix them. The front desk manager was very nice and tried to help us but nothing came of it. So I would recommend this hotel but just make sure you leave absolutely nothing out, because if it gets damaged they won't take responsibility for it lol

I would absolutely stay at the Arlo Nomad again. The location was within a 10-15 minute walk to all the good spots; Grand Central, Greenwich, West Village. The room was tight (expected for NYC) but clean, updated, and very nice.

Ich habe mich im Nomad wohl gefühlt. Es ist weniger stylisch als ich erwartet hatte. Die Einrichtung ist teilweise schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles war sehr sauber. Die meisten Mitarbeiter sind swhr freundlich und hilfsbereit, der ein oder andere war aber auch etwas grummelig.
