The staff for the hotel was excellent but the property was in disrepair. We were told one of the elevators was out of service for a week already and was not repaired during out 3 day stay. We walked the stairs to and from the 6 floor. It was too long to wait for the elevator as the hotel has over 30 floors, making elevator operation very slow. There was rarely hot water available for a shower. I was only able to get hot water in the early morning Saturday. Our first set of towels was thin and thread bare around the edges. This was a $500 night rate. The people working at this hotel were fantastic and did all they could, but they are dealing with a property that is not properly maintained.

Staff was great. Rooms were clean. Elevator situation was horrible. Half hour minimum just to catch the elevator to leave or get to the room. Most times only 1 out of 3 worked. When there were 2 operable 1 would not work 100% and stop at every floor.

Disappointing stay this time (had a good stay a few years ago). Only 2 of 3 elevators working (employee stated 3rd one had been broken for awhile) for a 34 floor hotel. Took 15-20 minutes often to go up or come down. Rude check in agent in the morning and she did not assign our two room reservation on the same floor or adjoining as requested. Later afternoon check in agent was nice and offered us free breakfast next day for the morning check in trouble. Overall the stay was inconvenient and disappointing and will not stay here again or recommend it.

Convenient location, friendly staff, unfortunately only 1 or 2 working elevators in a 23+ story bldg that made it an event getting checked in and out of the room. Probably not the safest system. Hopefully, they get the elevator situation fixed, and it would be a good find. Great location to times square and lots of food options, and The Empire Steakhouse attached was delicious!

Room was clean and smaller than it appeared. Air conditioner was the highlight of the stay. Others reported the air conditioning not as great. Elevators were problematic. One was out of service and the other 2 were shared with customers and staff. 15-20 minutes of waiting each time. Won’t stay here again.

Common areas were dirty (carpet); elevators were barely functional. At one point we had to climb down 15 flights of stairs in order to be able to leave the hotel at all. The lobby is constantly flooded with people checking in/out, but tney only have one functional restroom in the lobby. For the price, amenities were extremely basic.

Left word of an issue Thursday morning. No communication and issue not addressed by 6pm. Called desk. Was told early shift left no word of it but they sent up maintenance with a temporary fix. Later, in lobby, manager asked how our stay was. We said our room was a bit funky. “Did you enjoy NYC?” No follow up or curiosity about our statement. Surprised with Hilton.

This place seems to have overbooking issues. I booked a certain room for a birthday trip in the city and had to wait over an hour for the room I booked to be ready just for the staff to inform me that the room will not be available and ended up checking me into a regular room. Also, as I was waiting I noticed they were telling other guests who were checking in that their room would not be available at check in time. Wasn’t much of a price different for the regular room. The staff didn’t seem to care much about the mix up either. Very disappointing, will never be back.

The hotels location was great to get to multiple subway routes and was a good middle between Central Park and Times Square, both walkable. Staff was nice and the cleaning service was good. The downsides were the elevators were so slow and small, specifically because one of the three elevators were broken. Also the AC was awful; it was very humid in the rooms (maybe because there is no bathroom fan) and it was difficult to sleep at night since the room was so hot.

Staff is unbelievable! They are so friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and a fair size. Only complaint is with the elevators. We had to go use the stairs a few times because the elevators were so very slow (one time we were literally waiting over 10 minutes so we decided to take the stairs, down of course).
