Near the airport, clean room, helpful staff

I transited at this hotel near JFK for my next journey to Ithaca. It is not far from the airport (about $30 by taxi, even though I was scammed by a self-solicited driver who asked me for $150). The room is clean. I had a good night sleep. The staff is helpful and gave me clear advice for transportation. Overall, I felt heartwarming for the stay at the snowy night in NY.

基本上都好，清潔、乾淨、房間舒適、光線充足，早餐時工作人員友善。花洒水壓力度太十足。但離開市區比較遠，每天來回yu差不多三個小時。

For tbe price I thought it was just fine. The room was very clean with a surprisingly comfortable bed. I really appreciated the wonderful AC in the summer (it went down to 60 if you wanted) and it was very much acceptable for an overnight before or after a flight. I do wish the lobby had a bit more to it, with maybe snacks or a small convenience store setup I’ve had at some Holiday Inn Express’s. They did have a soda fridge, but they had maybe 2 cokes and a couple bottles of water when I was there. The area outside the hotel certainly isn’t the greatest, but you aren’t there to see the sites of that area. All in all, a totally acceple place to stay for the night. It’s clean, the beds are cozy, the bathroom is spotless and it is not expensive. I would definitely stay there again if I needed to.

My Delta flight was cancelled. Delta wouldn't pay for a hotel, even though it was a CREW problem-- not weather. Hotels around JFK are a fortune. This hotel was around $200.00 per night and it was decent for the money. I took a 15min. Uber to the hotel because it was at night-- however, 2 blocks away is a convenient AirTrain that runs from JFK to Jamaica (2 short blocks from hotel.) I wouldn't walk in this neighborhood at night, but during the day it is fine. The hotel is a Holiday Inn Express so it's NOT the Four Seasons. However, check in was quick and painless (person is behind glass) and the room was very basic but clean. I would stay again if my plane was cancelled and I needed a low-cost, overnight hotel by JFK.

Exactly what I needed after a super exhausting day. Loved the black out curtains and the tv was good. Only downside were the pillows were a bit flimsy for my taste, I would have preferred if they were thicker and more supportive of my head. Other than that, a perfect room. Lots of charging ports and light switches close to the bed. The complimentary breakfast was also great.
