subway noise is crazy！

Property wasn’t in the greatest neighborhood, and there’s an above ground train that passes by every 10 minutes or so. Then, to make matters worse they kept a portion of my security deposit with no explanation. We were there for a family funeral so we arrived late and left early. We definitely didn’t break anything or leave a mess. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The bathroom had hair in it when we arrived, the table tops weren't clean and we were placed in a room that was directly near the train station so we couldn't even sleep through the horrid stay.

The hotel should clearly inform guests that there is extensive construction happening in the area. The windows are outdated and do little to block out the noise, so you can hear everything going on outside. Be aware that the hotel is located directly under a subway track, and the noise from trains and street activity is extremely loud at all hours. The area also feels quite sketchy, adding to the constant disturbances. If you’re hoping to get a good night’s sleep, this is not the place. Additionally, the amenities were disappointing. The hot water for tea was frequently unavailable, and they often ran out of basic items like tea bags, coffee, and sugar. Overall, I would not recommend staying here unless these issues are addressed.

One issue I encountered was the train noise from outside. The hotel is situated near a busy railway line, and while the windows provided some insulation, I could still hear the trains passing by, especially during the night. This might be a dealbreaker for light sleepers, as it did disrupt my rest on a few occasions. That said, the hotel was fine for a short stay. If you’re not too sensitive to noise or are planning to be out and about most of the time, it could still be a good option for the price and location.

Key card did not work both nights when returning to hotel around 6am. Even after getting a new one from hotel desk still did not let us into room. Other than that excellent service and clean and friendly. Will stay here again.
