Older buildings with associated challenges. Was initially placed in what was billed a three-person room (one queen, expandable couch/bed) but the couch was damaged enough to make sleep impossible, sink had previously been seriously broken but mended, and there were many signs of wear and tear in the room itself. After a complete lack of sleep, we complained to staff and they immediately made arrangements to put us in a completely different room with a king that we were fine sharing. They were super accommodating and quick to respond. From that point everything was great.
Good service, second room was small but clean and decent, super convenient location but relatively quiet despite that. The last issue--namely, the smell of pot and tobacco occasionally floating up from the streets--weren't within the control of the hotel so not something I'd ding them for. Easy solution: close the windows. Ta da! Would stay here again.
