I booked through Expedia (which states transparency on fees) , and upon arrival was told there was an extra daily fee...for what I have no idea. There's a sign at the front desk saying they give you a bottle of water (yay but what else am I getting for my $42 daily?), and they were out of water anyway. If you read the fine print, you will see that there is an extra daily fee that you have to pay upon arrival at the hotel. The rooms are reminiscent of a cruise ship...tiny with no room to store luggage, and DARK. They are aesthetically cool, but not very functional. The light in the bathroom is off to the left, so using that mirror and applying makeup is not ideal...and that's the only mirror. The heavy swinging glass door to the bathroom cannot be propped open...highly inconvenient, especially if you have 2 people going in and out. We had an issue where our A/C stopped in the middle of the night and didn't come back on. The desk guys in the morning said they'd have someone look at it. When we got back, our room was still warm, but we got it to work again. When we asked a girl at the front desk if anyone had come to work on it, she said she didn't know and had no way of finding out (what??).
On the flip side, we found the male desk attendants to be super friendly all 3 days, and the water pressure was great. But there are a dozen hotels right around there at the same price point, so I'll try a different one next time.
