Doesn't have microwave or ice maker other than that is okay could be a little noisy at nighs cause of the subway and other guests slamming their doors!

Hôtel un peu vieillot, pour nos chambres elles donnaient sur des murs donc sombres toute la journée. Cela dit fonctionnelles et suffisantes pour un séjour à N.Y notamment en terme de prix. Le petit déjeuner est simple et peu varié mais il a le mérite d’exister ! Le personnel est sympathique. Le bar ouvert à partir de 18h est très intimiste, Arefin vous fera de merveilleux cocktails ! Le quartier est sûr et central !

Gutes Hotel mit nettem Personal. Zimmer sind sauber, mit eigenem Bad und separater Kleiderkammer. Darüber hinaus ist das Hotel zentral gelegen in direkter Nähe zum Empire State Building. Von dort aus könnten wir die Stadt überwiegend zu Fuß erkunden. Eine Subway ist ebenfalls in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir hatten zwar ein Zimmer mit 2 Fenstern, jedoch war der Ausblick auf die nächste Hausmauer in 1m Entfernung, und daher auch sehr dunkel. Ein Frühstück wurde ebenfalls angeboten. Das nächste Mal würde ich das Hotel wieder buchen, aber ohne Frühstück.

Korea Town location is hoppin' until the wee hours with so many people in the street, and if that's your thing, then Hotel Sanford would be good for you. Super convenient to the subway and many restaurants. It was just too loud to sleep well. If we stay again, we will ask for a room in the back of the building. The staff was wonderful, let us check in a little early on a rainy day without charging us. Breakfast was limited but appreciated for the convenience. Hot dogs, mashed potatoes, white flour bagels, yogurt, apples, bananas, individually wrapped cheese slices, Keurig coffee were the items offered that I can remember. Our room had comfortable beds, plenty of space in a suite with couch, chair and coffee table. Good office chair for the desk, and nicely sized closet in the bedroom. We enjoyed a big bathroom with grab bars and an ADA compliant toilet. Lots of hot water and decent water pressure at night. Could not hear other guests through the walls and ceiling. Air conditioning worked but was not super-cold despite attempts to lower the temperature via the old-fashioned thermostat. Room was a bit worn - wall paper bunching here and there, furniture showing signs of age. Visible dust on the wood trim between the wall and the carpet. Bathroom was sparkling, but the tub and tile surrounding it showed some wear and tear.

The Stanford hotel is a great place to stay. It is right I. Central New York and was very convenient to visit the main landmarks. The staff were great as was the room. I would definitely recommend it

Blood stained pillow for the first night. We had a normal bathroom mat for the first night but not the second night. placed a small towel (same small towel for guest) on the floor for the second night. Then no bathroom mat for the third night.

Property conditions were fair for the price. They obviously used fabuloso to clean because that’s all I could smell for the entire first nights stay. Had to leave the door open for a couple hours. There’s no view but a brick wall from the room so you have no idea what time of day it is due to lack of daylight but overall great location and didn’t have to wait long for elevators. Breakfast was bare but still nice as an amenity.

The property is extremely convenient to so much in NYC either on foot or by public transport. Great dining nearby - Korea Town in the immediate area. Our room was very cosy, but we weren't in it much. Cannot comment on breakfast as we didn't try it.

The bed is okay. Breakfast area can be quite crowed without enough seats for everyone. They also forbid anyone to bring food but drink only back to the bedroom.

There many positive elements to Hotel Stanford. The room size is definitely larger than most NYC hotel room in this price range. It has been renovated not too long ago and the improvements definitely show. The bed was super comfortable. They provide complementary bkfast and coffee in their 2nd fl lounge, which is quite comfortable. I did couple of zoom meetings at the lounge and it was good. The front desk staff was so helpful in helping us to check in early as we arrived after a red eye flight. Kudos definitely to the staff. Here are a few things that should be improved. 1. There is no electricity al outlet by the bed. It is impossible to charge your phone and use it in bed. 2. The thermometer is not very responsive. My room was either cold or stuffy. There is no middle ground. Our son's room did not have any cold air. After 2 days, we made a room change request and they moved our son's to a junior suite. Very well done. 3. As you go higher in the floor (we were on 12th floor...top floor), the water pressure goes down. I think it's due to the old buildings in NYC. Next time, I d e finite will be staying in a suite on the 2nd floor. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in Stanford hotel as described above and certainly recommend this hotel. Finally, this hotel is located in heart of Manhattan Koreatown and the mid town location is soooo wonderfully accessible for wonderful Asian cuisine and short subway rides away from Central Park and the museum row.

Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Stanford. Only thing I would change is the breakfast. The option for hot food was grits and Vienna sausages in a crockpot. We just ended up finding a diner few blocks away, but that’s two $60 meals you didn’t plan for. Other than that the place was great, staff was amazing, 5 stars, will definitely stay again.
