We stayed at a private room. We had similar rules to shared pods, which do not make sense. For example, we could not adjust the AC at all, although it was an individual unit. It was the only way to get "fresh" air in the room, as the room did not have a window. We also could not dry our hair between 9pm and 9am, which makes it very annoying to take a shower.
Also the room was very dim. One LED strip was not working when we arrived and got fixed 4 days later. Even with that, the corners of the room were still pitch black. We had to use our phone's flashlight all the time.
There is also a rather significant communication problem between the guests and the management. The personnel in the premises are helpful but the rules such as the hair drying and obligatory in-person check-in are not communicated. Such rules are not even written in the rules or in the terms and conditions.
The pods might be ok but it is not a comfortable experience to stay in a "private" room. Even though the price and description match a regular hotel room, the experience was quite different. If we hadn't paid for a week and could find a hotel, we would leave after one night.
