The room smelled like urine. The air conditioner was too loud to sleep on. Pillows were terrible.

I really loved this property. The staff were very personable. Parking was easy via the valet. I was able to store our luggage following for a final day in the city. The rooms were large, especially by New York standards and the architecture was beautiful with the pre-war components such as the flooring, the elevator, the brass mail shoot I loved it all.

This property is a bargain for Theatre district goers, friendly staff that will find a way to accommodate every reasonable request, with multi- language services. The amenities in the rooms are in decline, the mattresses have graveyard like imprints from there age and use. Leave a light on or the cockroaches will appear at least in the bathroom and hopefully not walk across the linens. It is NYC, this is always a top three place to stay for the price.

Das Personal war freundlich. Beim Check-in erhielten wir ein Upgrade. Das Zimmer war schön groß und gerade renoviert. Die Möbel, das Bad und der Boden wirkten neu. Das Zimmer machten einen guten Eindruck. Fön, Safe, Bademantel, Bügelbrett, TV, Seife und Shampoo waren vorhanden. Insgesamt waren wir zufrieden. Das Fenster war leider zum Hinterhof mit der Klimaaußenanlage ausgerichtet, die etwas laut ist. An das Rauschen haben wir uns aber gewöhnt. Beim Wischen des Bodens hätte man etwas mehr Sorgfalt walten lassen. Im Übrigen entsprach alles den Erwartungen. Das Hotel liegt super zentral im Theaterdistrict. Wer abends eine Show sehen möchte, hat es nicht weit und kann in ca. 10. bis 15 Minuten alles erreichen. Zur Metro sind es ebenfalls nur wenige Gehminuten. In der Umgebung gibt es unzählige Restaurants. Das Hotel liegt auch super, um Manhattan zu Fuß zu erkunden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We enjoyed our stay and the staff was always so helpful. Do make sure you are aware of the extra additional charges for when you check out. We were not and came as a surprise.

Everyone at the hotel was professional and polite. The price was good and the location was convenient to getting everywhere we wanted to go. However, the hotel was in need of updates. The bathtub was rusted and the sink area very small and cramped. There was really no place to put things for three travelers. On two days of our stay, there were hairs in the tub. The second main elevator was out of order when we arrived, then repaired, then out of service again two days later. Maybe this is typical of a New York City hotel room at this price point, but it was way below our usual standards.

The first room had an air conditioner that was so noisy I couldn’t stay in the room The second room was marginal needed to be r The third room was ok The staff at the front desk were not helpful and the one manager lied to me about room availability I still have received the refund for the money they charge you when you check in
