The location is really good, close to all the main Broadway venues and commute to reach out the main attractions. But the Hotel is in a really poor condition and the management does nothing to accommodate their Guests.
Why would a property offer their outdated Rooms at Expedia at the average 3.5-4**** price without any notification?
Here are the problems I've encountered with:
1. The carpet in the Room (and in the Lobby at the 12th Floor where I stayed) was ugly and sticky. I've asked for the Slippers but they said they do not provide them, They told me that there are upgraded (renovated) rooms with the laminate floors but they do not provide them as Standard (though I paid viad Expedia USD $300+ per night).
2. Wi Fi did not work, neither on the phone nor at the laptop. Never. Though they provided some wifi password and tried to convince me that "there is a way" - nothing helped. For 5 days I stayed without internet connection and was not able to work from ym hotel room. I had only.my cell phone provider data.
3. There are no USB ports or at least convenient and modern power bars to charge cell phone, iWatch,powerbank etc. The ones available in the room, were located between the furniture and the walls and were completely useless. I had to ask for one more, and still it was not comfortable to use.
I hope this comment will help other Guests not to book this hotel or least arrive there well-prepared.
