They put us in a room, the size of a closet. There was literally nothing but a bed and a bathroom. There wasn’t even a table and chairs for us to eat. No microwave, no refrigerator, nothing just a bed. The TV stopped working about halfway through so they upgraded us to a bit bigger room one that had a bed with a table and chairs.Still no microwave or refrigerator. They have a basket with candy chips and chocolate in it and if you choose to accept one of them, you will be charged at least eight dollars. $10 for a bag of popcorn is ridiculous. I wound up paying $43 for opening the popcorn and chips.The room was freezing. They have this heater built into the wall way up by the ceiling so you can’t even feel the heat. The shower was way too complicated to operate. They gave me a room with an ocean view in a terrace. That was the only good thing. would not recommend for $300 DEFINITELY NOT worth it

A small gem in a part of queens that is generally considered destitute. Im glad I stayed, we loved the hotel. We had issues with the television and they upgraded our room but we still had TV issues in the new room so we gave up on the TV. Although not directy on the beach only a block away and still get a decent view of the beach. Beautiful boardwalk on the beach. Parking lot is about 2 blocks away but you can opt for valet parking but there was a good amount of street parking available nearby, just check the alternate side parking signs. Good restaurants nearby. Very friendly staff. Very clean Hotel. Hotel gives a general high quality vibe when walking around.

My husband and I stayed for Valentine’s Day. We loved the spa/pool/saunas. I got a massage & we both got facials. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Both restaurants we dined at were great. We can’t wait to come back in the summer! Also a plus was getting champagne multiple times for being a guest & getting spa treatments I love that little touch

Lyft to the place from JFK is not cheap at $80;for ten miles. $46 plus tax charged as Amenity Fee on departure, in the winter, when no beach equipment is available or usable, nor any biking is agreeable. I could only enjoy a standard glass of sparkling wine on arrival and a small drip coffee on departure for that amount, abusive. Otherwise the room is nice, with a balcony and mince red skies when the sun rises. Steps away from the ferry to Wall Street, charged $4.5. Do not go there to sleep between planes, like I did, if saving money is important to you. Otherwise, not Miami or San Francisco where I was before, but a quiet place by the ocean.

Absolutely gorgeous property with incredible staff from Alina at front desk, Tom and Kayla at pool house, and Christian at rooftop and Margies. Food and drink were delicious and pool /sauna/ lobby truly relaxing. A real gem!

Really nicely designed hotel, a warm retreat on a freezing winter night before a flight from JFK. The highlight was Margie's, the fabulous onsite bar and restaurant with exceptional service and outstanding food and drink. Unfortunately the hotel service is just "okay' and falls short of the design excellence - they'd really benefit in adopting the restaurants approach to looking after customers.

My stay at this hotel was supposed to be a couples quiet relaxing stay however it was a nightmare. The staff upon check in was very nice and welcoming. Once we entered the room I was very shocked that the room had absolutely no space to move around and was extremely small to be a luxury hotel . The bed had a yellow stain on it and we removed some of those sheets rather than complaining being we only stayed 1 night . At 5:55 we arrived to the spa. The spa service for me was amazing with Joseph (I feel so bad I should’ve left him a cash tip) I left my room key with the lady in the spa so she can give it to my partner being I would finish way before him. The key ended up getting lost . I went downstairs around 10 pm to retrieve the pizza we ordered and I asked about the key . No one offered me a new set of keys only stated it would be deactivated if I took it back . Around 12:45AM we heard someone try to come inside the room with the key . Luckily the chain was on the door . Then someone tried to come inside the side door which the room was connected but never locked the door back after we screamed and asked who was that . No phone in the room I had to google the front desk phone number and call . Spoke with jason who was EXTREMELY rude and stated he would come up to check it out and never did . I called again multiple times to at least lock the side door and he hung up the phone on me . After calming down but no sleep at all we packed up and spoke to the front desk manager …….

Love this place every time i come to visit my family. We all enjoy the restaurant -Margus- and love hanging around poolside and doing the sauna while eating, drinking and catching up. Close walk to the beach and shops in town! Would highly recommend!
