Chris was friendly and the property was clean, but several aspects didn’t match the listing.
1. The freezer was iced over, making it hard to use the drawers.
2. No TV in the living area as advertised, only in the bedrooms.
3. Daytime noise from neighbors was noticeable, though quiet at night.
4. The toilet was loose, wobbly, and plugged into the wall, making it noisy.
5. Missing paper towels.
6. The bed was hard.
7. The walkway to the apartment is very narrow, making it difficult to walk with something as simple as a pizza box.
8. The smell of weed was strong throughout the stay.
9. The "water view" isn't visible from the property, but can be seen on a walk.
10. The shared courtyard feels like part of a tenant's backyard, so we didn’t use it.
11. There were very few outlets in the apartment.
12. The "gym" is just a Tonal Home Gym.
13. There is only one mirror in the bathroom. The apartment could benefit its guests if it had more than one mirror, preferably full-length.
If I hadn’t been with my husband, I would have likely left early. While Chris was helpful, future guests should be aware of these issues when considering the listing.
