Spacious Farmhouse !

Stayed here for our daughter’s wedding in Newburgh. Very convenient location. Lots of thoughtful things around house and check-in and out were easy. No time to use outside spaces. Plenty of room for all 8 of us that stayed. Due to the steep stairs inside house to upstairs wouldn’t recommend for elderly or small children. The walk to house to unload was also a lot if anyone had any mobility issues. Some parts of refrigerator had some spills and last guest forgot to clean coffee pot . Great price for the space and host was friendly and responsive.

Fantastic retreat

Great house. Everything my family needed. Comfortable gathering space. Kitchen had what we needed to prepare our meals. Comfortable brooms. We stayed in February. We would live to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the outside space!

Beautiful renovated property. So much space. Big bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen was wonderful to cook in. When visiting family in Evansville will hope to stay here again.

Our wedding at The Farmhouse!

We rented the farmhouse for a small wedding ceremony and the backyard was the perfect setting to enjoy our special day with 20 of our closest family and friends! The house is beautiful and everything we needed was there to enjoy our stay! We will absolutely visit again! Thank you!

18th country birthday

We stayed here for my daughter’s 18th birthday party. It was a perfect place to host her party. The outdoor space is wonderful with the large yard and fire pit area. The kitchen is so well equipped that you have everything you need. Also. I can’t say enough about the hosts. They are very accommodating and respond quickly to any message. I highly recommend staying here if you’re traveling to this area.

Surprised

Entry to the property should be updated to a keypad lock. The key wasn’t secure when we showed up to the property. Upon entering, there was an overwhelming smell of urine. The fridge had opened milk, ice cream and other foods. Bedding was left in the dryer. There was cat food in the laundry room to feed the cats that surrounded the back door. It wasn’t very easy to get ahold of the owners. She gave us our money back but more should have been done for the inconvenience. We had to find a place to stay for the week last minute and we already bought groceries to cut back on eating out for the week.

The farmhouse is as advertised. The house was clean and well stocked. You could see the effort that has been put into the property. There was plenty of room to spread out after visiting family, friends, and Holiday World.

Nice Newburgh Getaway

The house was comfortable and provided plenty of room for 6 adult men. Excellent common areas and bedrooms, plenty of room outside for yard games, and good space between properties (so we didn’t have to worry if we or any neighbors got a little too loud).

Great Place

We were in town all week for the USSSA Girls Fastpitch Nationals and stayed at this amazing lovely farmhouse! House was so comfortable and has everything you need just bring groceries! Grill was almost like new and we used it daily ! Very clean and updated home! The kids loved the barn cats and kittens roaming around and the location is very close to Newburgh and Evansville Softball complexes!! This was such a great visit! Thanks for you hospitality!! We will come again when anything brings us back to Evansville area!!

Just what we needed!

We only stayed in this location one day just to keep us from having to travel so long between owensboro and lynnville Indiana for my daughter’s wedding. It was absolutely perfect and everyone greatly enjoyed their stay. Highly recommend and will consider renting again in the future!

Just what we needed

We went there for a convention and needed a place where the kids could have some outside time in the evening. Perfect for that. Plus we have never stayed in a place that had such a well stocked kitchen. All the rooms were clean and comfortable and I loved the farmhouse feel. If I changed one thing I would have liked a door or maybe a curtain on the master bathroom. I hope we get to come back next year!

Serene modern Farmhouse

The two story Farmhouse was quiet and met all the needs of our family of 6--2 adults and 4 youngsters. The main floor bedroom/bathroom suite was large and comfortable. The two upstairs bedrooms were perfect for the 4 kiddos. There was an extra 'porta-bed' which accommodated 3 girls in one room; the boy got his own room. The upstairs bathroom is huge and nicely decorated. There is a commode and sink bathroom on the main floor that was convenient. The laundry room with full sized washer and dryer was greatly appreciated. The grill was used with no issues. All the appliances worked with no issues. There were toys, books, and games for the kiddos. There were no issues with the TV or wifi. This is the second time we have utilized this property for our family. The hostess/host are friendly and answered our questions via e-mail. There is an elementary school very close to this property and we utilized the playground in the evenings. We hope to utilize this property again for our family next year. Thank you.

Amazing!

This farmhouse was the perfect getaway to celebrate our anniversary. The house was spotless, well equipped with all the necessities. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could ever imagine. Outside is well kept with a cozy firepit area and a deck with outdoor seating and a gas grill. Every bedroom and bathroom is equipped with "extras"...pillows, blankets, hair dryers, heated towel rack, tv, curling irons. You name, it's there. Cheryl and Josh went above and beyond for us to be sure that our stay was special. When we arrived, there were fresh cut flowers, fresh fruit in a fruit bowl, all the charcuterie possibilities, roasted chicken, stuffed mushrooms, and fresh cut veggies along with a bottle of wine. We never had to leave the day we arrived. Josh outdid himself! We are already planning our next trip back this fall. Thank you, Cheryl & Josh, for making this stay so memorable for us!

Couldn’t have found a more perfect place for me and my 2 Maltese to relax and observe the eclipse. The master suite is on the first floor which was super! Nice quiet place but I wasn’t afraid to be alone because it wasn’t super secluded. Updates to this home are well chosen and lovely. Charming farmhouse

This little nugget, situated right outside of Newburgh was the perfect, quiet location for our weekend! The quaint house provided for all of our needs and was very clean. All areas were well-appointed including the kitchen as well as offering bath and bedding extras. Our downtime included engaging in the puzzles and board games provided for some family time. A wedding in the family brought us to Country Comfort and it rounded out our wonderfully perfect weekend!
