“This was not what I expected for a place called a world famous resort, but if you’re looking for a clean, safe and peaceful get away this is your place. The food for dinner and breakfast was amazing. Our accommodations were clean and comfortable. I’d definitely recommend it if you had a boat. Otherwise not so much for swimming. ”

“We just spent 3 nights at the Downtown Hideaway due to a family wedding in nearby Jacksboro, and it was the perfect spot! The stay itself was comfortable, quiet, and clean. “This place is a hidden gem! Driving up, I immediately felt like I was entering a little oasis; the building was so inviting and the interior common areas and my room were so well decorated and furnished.
