Enjoy your next Oregon Coast getaway at this lovely single-level condo, located at the Embarcadero Resort Hotel & Marina on Newport's beautiful bayfront. This condo has everything you'll need for a comfortable stay, including wonderful views of the harbor and the historic Yaquina Bay Bridge. You'll be treated to an on-site fitness room, as well as easy access to the docks where you can dine, shop, or simply take a stroll.

What's nearby:
The Embarcadero Resort Hotel & Marina sits just over a mile east of a public beach access point at the Yaquina Bay State Recreation Site. On your way to the beach, you can peruse the numerous shops and restaurants that line the Newport Historic Bayfront. Stop by Local Ocean for a great meal, head over to the Nye Beach district for an afternoon of shopping and dining, or cross the bridge for an incredible day at the Oregon Coast Aquarium.

Location Location Location

The location, view, and washer dryer in condo were the saving grace on this listing. We did not get to use the pool, hot tub, or spa. We made the reservation back in December but were only notified two weeks prior to our arrival that they were going to be closed during our stay. I did complain as we choose this property for those amenities as we were taking our grandchildren and now way too late to find another property, they refunded us 100 for the inconvenience. Overall the condo itself was a bit disappointing there was debris when I went to pulled out the bed in the couch and no sheets had been provided. We got 1 washcloth, 2 hand towels, 3 bath towels, and 2 pool towels. The next day when I called to inquire about sheets and washcloths they did drop them off however keep in mind the property was expecting 5 guests this wasn't some surprise we would need these items. There were huge lint balls in the laundry on the floor. The bed in master room was flat, and squeaked with every move. There were numerous stains on the floor in the master bedroom and the comforter on the bed had a huge rip in it. Also the kitchen is very sparsely stocked. Although listing says it accommodates 6 there was only enough mugs and cereal bowls for 3 people. Also think salt, pepper, garlic salt, and steak seasoning. The bathroom door doesn't close fully and I guess no matter how many guests or how long the stay you only are provided 2 additional rolls of toilet paper. Both ottomens stained.

Bare bones

Beds clean and comfortable. Furniture, especially chairs and ottoman..dirty and old. Pocket door to bathroom hard to closed and off track I believe. Minimalist kitchen. Very! No coffee, no seran wrap, baggies, foil..anything. Ok, there was salt and pepper. One of the bedrooms has water damage in upper corner by closet. A hotel would have been a better choice in my opinion.

Great view

Great location, great view. Kitchen could have used more utensils and kitchen utensils. The bathroom door wouldnt stay on the track and was unlevel so it never closed fully. The front door had to be pushed real hard to fully close. Was difficult to get the temperature in the condonright, it was either too hot or too cold but was provided with a couple space heaters.

Stunning Harbor View

This was our first visit to Newport and we had an excellent time. The view from the condo is stunning and it is located close to the harbor downtown area.

It was not too clean..dishes left in dishwasher. Bathroom toilet makes noise and hard to flush..black mold around tub. 1 pan was gr needscupdatedeasy in cupboard. Dirt on wall of stove..i cleaned.

Property needs repair

The townhouse was in a good location. Unfortunately, it's in need of some updating and deep cleaning. The carpets were dirty, grease in the oven, paint worn, damage to woodwork, bathroom pocket door that doesn't work properly, and mattresses that were old and uncomfortable. Odd layout with the bathroom sink & vanity in an area wide open to the hallway. It depends on who you're traveling with as to whether or not it wouldve comfortable - lacks any privacy at the bathroom sink. The toilet & shower area are very compact, not a lot of room to dress in there. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this property nor would I rent it again.

First time with vrgo

We had a great time, you get what you pay for... Most affordable place I could find for family of 6 needing full accomodations. Much more outdated and "well used" and little smaller then expected by the pictures. Would have liked to have known the bathroom door had issues and needed placed back on the track when we arrived and a few times during our stay. The Netflix was unusable, it needed an update that had to be approved by owner of the subscription and there was no response to that. Plenty of room for 6 (as long as you don't mind a fold out) more then enough towels and bedding, loved having the use of free washer and dryer! Over all I would say, fair price for what you get

Condo was well equipped, only cosmetic issues were water damaged floor trim and major sheet rock cracks in the living space. The heat was hard to control with only space heaters but other than that views were amazing, and I will seek this place out again on my way through town next time.

Very Peaceful

Parking was great, but there are stairs on the way to the condo so it isn't completely accessible. The view of the bay is incredible. We came for a relaxing birthday weekend; we listened to the rain outside, watched tv, walked to the historic bayfront for coffee, and even made a cake. I would love to stay here again.

Overall a great place to stay

The unit was clean and comfortable. There was central heating and also individual heating elements. The only issue was that the bathroom door could not be closed completely. The location was great within minutes from all shopping, restaurants, and Bayfront.

Almost like home

A great little gem of an apartment overlooking the harbor. Seals barking in the background. Sunsets and sunrises over the bridge. Gym. Pool. Sauna. Hot tub. Almost perfect- only two things to improve on: someone had signed out of all of the streaming platforms, so the TV was not really usable. The cookware was in rough shape, some of the baking sheets were covered in rust. Once you fix those two items, it’s a 10 out of 10 for me.

Comfort and Views

The two-bedroom condo is comfortable, with all the amenities of home. The views are spectacular, looking out over the marina with the bridge in the distance. Sunsets were amazing. The only negatives: the internet connection was a bit intermittent, so the Roku and Smartcast TV didn't work well; and the bathroom is kind of a weird setup, with the toilet and shower behind a sliding door. All closets have curtains, rather than doors. But overall, the experience was great.

This property was the worst VRBO condo I have ever stayed in. In the current state it should not be rented. Filthy carpet, dents in walls, paint and plater repairs neede throughout, generally in need of paint, blind in bedroom falling apart, pocket door in bathroom barely slides and doesn’t close, bedroom doors don’t close, several fogged up windows, mildew in shower, Internet router location in bedroom make TV in living room useless. A horrible experience and an embarrassment to our guests.
