The lobby, dining, and terrace are beautiful. The pool area/outside of hotel could use an update. Overall great, we have stayed a few times. The only downfall, is it seems like each time there has been more and more small children running around and crowding pool. The feel is like a more luxury hotel but with the amount of little kids screaming everywhere, it became frustrating when you want a relaxing vacation.

VIP didn’t do anything. Nothing offered. The items I would have them improve on would be their service. Parking attendants and baggage excellent. It took 20 or more minutes to get my drink, my daughter got her food first. Food service was slow. Bartending, took 12 min for them to even acknowledge us. It took 3 phone calls to get pillows and blankets for our pull out which I requested days before and day of. But at 9:30 at night had to call 3x. This should have already happened. Oh and the hair conditioner smells terrible. Other than that it was a good stay!

We recently stayed at the property and overall had a pleasant experience, but there were a few areas that left room for improvement. Check-in was smooth in terms of staff friendliness—the team was welcoming and helpful. However, we were not notified when our room was ready, and we had to follow up at the front desk after waiting past the 4 PM check-in time. We were eventually assigned a different room than originally planned. While the front desk agent reassured us that she personally liked the location of this alternate room, we were disappointed to find it was located at the farthest end of the property, in a corner, with a view of the parking lot. For the price point, we had expected something more private and scenic. While the team checked availability, we weren’t able to relocate. That said, the room itself was beautiful, well-appointed, and very comfortable—though the lack of privacy when the window shades were open was a drawback. The hotel’s pool and general location were highlights, and we enjoyed spending time in both. Unfortunately, our experience at the hotel restaurant did not meet expectations. The pretzel we ordered during a mid-afternoon visit was burnt, and our breakfast the following day was both very slow to arrive and underwhelming in taste and quality. Based on this, I wouldn’t recommend dining at the hotel restaurant. A lovely property. Renovated recently and you can tell they care about service and details. Loved the boat “taxi” ride to the docks for shopping and dining.

While the hotel was fine, I can’t believe with the price I paid for it, that I then had to pay $35/night parking. I could understand if parking was limited but there was tons. The food and beverage was also not up to the standards set by the very pricey rooms.

I rarely write views. This place had exceptionally bad customer service. The photos on Expedia show that you will get different views based on whether you stay in a Harbor View room or a Water View room. The Harbor View is less expensive. I paid a premium for a Water View room and got a view of boats docked in a harbor and part of the parking lot and concrete roof below. I did not get the view on the Expedia website of broad waves. This alleged “King Water View” room had a single sink, tiny shower, and “broom-closet” sized closet. It was less than a comfortable amount of space for two people. The hotel didn’t sweep the room floor and never replaced the coffee. I tried to ask about the difference in the rooms with the manager. The manager continued to state the room had a water view bc there was water. Yes—but not the Water View for the premium price. When I asked for an explanation of the difference, he didn’t give one. Why advertise one thing and provide something different? This is the most or one of the most expensive hotels there. I was going to extend my stay—but not after that manager and hotel’s behavior. Also, usually a King room includes two sinks. We were constantly bumping into each other. I think this hotel does not fully or accurately represent its accommodations. I would not recommend it to anyone. Rhode Island is beautiful but stay anywhere else.

Property had beautiful views, staff was warm & welcoming. We had a problem with our sliding glass door as it would not lock, but when we called they sent a facilities engineer right away to fix the issue. Patio had seagull droppings as did the cushions.

We absolutely love this hotel! Got a little confusing at pool on Saturday due to crowds. It got resolved quickly. The shuttle service to town is wonderful! We will be back again!

Loved the out door pool, bar, views, yoga, restaurant and seating area. Used the gym and went for early morning walks. The spa there wouldn’t treat teens under 18 even with adult consent nor with alsulg present ie couples massage but I found Bodhi spa and the were able to accomade the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 teens for a girls bday weekend) and we Enjoyed the water Journey at Bohdi as well

Our room was exceptional with breath taking views of Narragansett Bay and spacious with sophisticated and comfortable modern design. The hotel ground was well maintained with ample chairs and cabanas to enjoy and relax next to water. The restaurant next to swimming pool overlooking the bay was a perfect spot to relax and truly enjoy the meals and drinks. The hotel truly felt like a resort. We will certainly come back.

An oasis among the city. Easily walkable but apart from the chaos of downtown. The free shuttle from the hotel was also a great perk. The pool and pool bar were fantastic. We leave relaxed, rejuvenated, and happy!
