Clean and Comfortable

We loved our stay at this house. The furniture and beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-appointed. The view was great for watching boats, birds, and sea lions. It was within walking distance of a restaurant, the Oregon Coast Aquarium, and the harbor. Bring your binoculars! We forgot ours, but that would have been nice to have.

Cozy Alcove

This unit is the third we’ve rented in this row of condos and it is our favorite. Number 1, the owner is wonderful to deal with. Her concern for your comfort is so genuine. The washer broke down one morning and in exactly 24 hours a new washer/dryer unit was installed and the old hauled away! Both beds were pretty comfortable but most pots and pans were pretty bad. The furniture is well used but overall we were comfortable. The jewel of this unit is the little sitting area in front of the picture window looking out to the bay and the bridge where you can sit with your morning coffee or evening cocktail and watch seals and sea lions, eagles, nesting osprey and waterfowl of every kind every day and by the hundreds during the herring spawning! In the unit next door this area has a window seat that was not handy for coffee cups, binoculars, bird books etc or if you’re older with a bad back. And the other unit we rented in this row of condos had a small dining table with SIX chairs which was just a really tight squeeze plus not real relaxing. We’ll be staying here again!

Enjoyed everything but the wind!

Property is good! Wind was bad for boating! City is very nice! Only disappointment was the weather. That’s obviously not anyone’s fault! We were quite comfortable while at the rental.

Great location, pleasant home

Perfect base for exploring Newport, Depoe Bay, and Lincoln City. Great to be so close to the Coast Aquarium and Science Center, a nice walk along the bay, and beaches not too far. House was comfortable and well-stocked with towels, extra blankets, and kitchen things.

Incredible View. Great Location

The 2 bedroom condo was spotless and comfortable. The view was incredible. We stayed to run the bay to brews half marathon. We could see the start from the condo. We left 10 minutes before the race. Once we figured out the area we realized we could have walked everywhere. We enjoyed the old riverfront, Nye beach and breakfast at Fishtails. Deborah was incredibly responsive when we needed help figuring things out. I would definitely recommend this beautiful home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The beds are very comfortable - wish our beds at home were this good! The view from the deck is incredible - especially at night. The bathrooms and kitchen had everything we needed. And the location was "perfect" with easy access to the bridge both north and south directions on I01. Quiet neighborhood, with nice walking path, well-lit at night, and an easy drive down the South Jetty. The Newport Aquarium was a fun place to visit, where we especially enjoyed watching the puffins. We would definitely rent here again!

Great location, amazing view

This place was perfect! Lots of space. Would be perfect for 2 couples. Location is within walking distance to the end of the jetty, rogue brewery, science center, aqaurium, and the fishing pier. Very relaxing stay. Watched a big storm blow in, the bay wildlife and ships entering and leaving the bay all from the comfort of the living room. Will definitely look into staying here again.

Great location

This is a great location if you love to walk; easy stroll to South Beach, jetty, Rogue, and Aquarium. You can dig for clams right out the door and a clam gun is provided! There are also a few sand toys for kids. The bridge noise is just absorbed itno the ocean sounds. It’s reverse living. This is great for the views, but means those with mobility issues will have to climb the stairs. Also, it means it’s a bit sketchier keeping little people from falling down the stairs. The kitchen is well stocked, but does have the usual scratched Teflon pans. We will return.

The kitchen had just about everything you could want as far as appliances go. There was a lot of space the garage was nice to put the car in. The views were amazing and the location to the fishing dock for crabbing was just a short walk. I will be back again
