“The house location was excellent. The kitchen was a bit of a disappointment, it was small and the pots and pans were lacking in the sense there were no smaller pots and the layoff was not functional. The upstairs bath needs updated the tub needs reglazing and its dangerous to use. I have some mobility issues so its not user friendly to older people. Otherwise we enjoyed our time there”

“Wonderful weekend getaway to the quaint and quiet town of Cape Charles. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and the location was excellent-right across the street from the park, walkable to the town and the beach made it highly convenient! The house itself was a bit worn but well kept and spacious enough for our family of five and our dog. Overall, lovely stay and would recommend. ”

“The property was amazing. In a perfect setting. The home was comfortable. We enjoyed that the bedrooms were split and that the kids had their own chill area with a TV for them. There were three kayaks and we had three grandkids (12-16), no fights. Very relaxing couple of days, wish we could have stayed longer, but the host was very accommodating allowing us an early check in. Looking forward to the opportunity of coming again. ”

“The home and surrounding area was lovely. The host was at first very nice u see standing my anxiety over not being able to see the reservation on VRBO. I texted frequently and they responded right away but do not offer your opinion on improvement. I recommended that they invest in a real mattress for the 3rd floor bed as they put a foam cover over the box spring and we could feel the wooden slats. I was told that I was “looking for fault” in my Stay since I messaged them regarding anxiety over……

“We had a lovely time at this very clean house. Notes for families: one bedroom is on the bottom floor, and three on the top floor (may not work for all families). One bedroom on the top floor doesn't have a door. It's in the common area. It worked for us, but may not work for everyone. Sony was very responsive and had very detailed check in and check out procedures. Overall it was a great stay and I'd recommend this place to anyone! The views from the balconies were beautiful and sitting……

“When they say less is more, they mean it in such an amazing way! This minimalist little cottage is wonderful for quick get aways or for families that don’t want to be overwhelmed with large properties and amenities. We came for the weekend and were able to focus on just being together as a family and that’s all in part to this wonderful property’s location and ability to provide the necessities; making us feel like we didn’t need to bring a bunch with us or go out and get stuff. “The cottage was much worse than the photos. The online photos are of more expensive or updated suites or are taken to deceive. The beds are excellent. The two units we saw are otherwise very dated. Clean but in need of replacement except the beds. The internet is not wired, so it's slow, drops often and has no security. The TV is so old you can't stream or connect HDMI, so it's just commercial cable, and it doesn't swivel. Not the end of the world, but in a resort room in the evening it's crazy……
