“Lovely property 5 mins walk into Newport centre . Beautiful garden , private and closed in for dogs. Parking and all amenities. Hot tub , great for a getaway. We were a couple and two dogs. Plenty of room for us. Could do with a hairdryer 😉🙌”

“My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. “The bed was super comfortable and the place was clean and tidy. The tv was not a smart tv as stated and the shower was very small , I’m glad neither of us were big people as it was tight to get between the shower and sink to use the toilet and there was no tv in the bedroom , we found on arrival a hot tub which I wish we knew about , unfortunately it was not the weather to use it. yes we would stay again despite the few little negative things . ”

“Stayed here with my wife and our dog for three nights. Lovely cost little Shepard's hut on a small and quiet caravan site. The Shepard's Hut is in a little courtyard, surrounded by fencing. My initial niggle was that the main house totally overlooks the courtyard and area where the hot tub is. You can also see straight into the next Sherpard's Hut along, so it's not very private. The Shepard's Hut itself is really nice and cosy, and very clean. They could provide lighters with gas in them,……

“A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future.”

“Very comfortable property in a secluded location which was central to exploring all of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path which was breathtaking. It was advertised as sleeping 8 but would only be comfortable for 6 max as living space is small. Garden is not child friendly or completely enclosed for dogs although no problem for ours who are well trained. WiFi is non-existent which has its plus sides but no landline in case of emergencies.”
