“Was very clean and in nice condition. But we couldn't stay whole night cause of my work.”

“We were invited to a wedding at the Millerstown Moose Lodge on 12/13/2024. We’ve never stayed at a bed & breakfast before, so we were not sure what to expect, but the experience was wonderful from check-in to check-out. Joy greeted us at the front door upon arrival. Our room was charming and cozy with a TV and mini fridge. We had a detached, private bathroom right outside our bedroom. Our room also had a sliding glass door that led to a beautiful wrap around porch. Too bad for us it wasn’t……

“We absolutely loved our stay at the Thornwald Mansion. It is nicely secluded in a park yet you are within walking distance to Dickinson College and a shopping center. The property has outstanding amenities and the food selections at breakfast were delicious. The service exceeded our expectations. The room and the bed were comfortable and very quiet. This mansion went under fire and then was rebuilt by the current owner from the ground up paying attention to detail and preserving its history. The……

They provided a delicious breakfast every morning. Take advantage of the morning history lesson, we learned a good bit that was not communicated on the tour. The staff could not have been friendlier. “My daughter and I stayed here for one night when there was an issue with our air bnb. It was a last minute booking and Dawn got our room ready in very little time with lots of lovely personal details. The room was beautifully furnished, spacious and comfortable and Dawn goes above and beyond to ensure her guests are comfortable with tea, coffee, wine, soft drinks and snacks (including delicious home baked cookies) available to help yourself. In the evening she showed us the amazing evening……
