The location of this motel is its biggest advantage - just a 10-minute walk to the Falls, park, shops. The price is also quite affordable, and the room had a microwave, which was convenient.
Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.
The motel is very old and tired. Furniture was chipped and worn, and a toilet paper holder literally fell out of the wall during our stay. While we didn’t expect luxury, the level of maintenance was disappointing.
The biggest issue, however, was cleanliness - or lack thereof. There was thick dust on lamps, dirt under the beds, and the bed linen felt questionable at best (we could only hope it had been washed). No housekeeping was done during our two-day stay, the trash wasn’t even taken out.
The room didn’t close properly, there was no kettle, no tea, no hairdryer just a microwave. Parking is charged separately, which felt unreasonable given the overall condition of the place.
But the worst part: the noise. A group of people staying at the motel partied loudly right outside their rooms until 1:30 AM, blasting music and shouting.
Shockingly, the motel manager was part of it!!!
Instead of enforcing quiet hours, management actively contributed to the disturbance!!!
It was impossible to sleep.
I would strongly recommend avoiding this motel. I would never stay here again.
